3 Testers Wanted – Nippon Zelos Iron Shafts

Since its inception in 1959, the Nippon Shaft mantra has been Steel For Life.

In 1999, Nippon added “light” to the steel equation with the 950GH. It was the industry’s first sub-100-gram constant-weight steel shaft. Since then, Nippon has released more light hits than Air Supply. That light quest culminated in 2013 with the Nippon Zelos line – the lightest steel shafts you can buy.

Now, we’d like to get some feedback from MyGolfSpy readers.

Nippon Zelos

Oh, and don’t worry about installation. If you are selected, we will take care of that, too!

This testing opportunity is open to golfers who live in the USA.

I’m 30 years old currently a 13 handicap. Just picked golf back up last after a 7 years drought. I think I’m the perfect golfer to test these products. I’m always improving my golf swing, my skills continue to grow. I feel I represent the average weekend warrior to a T!!!

I would love to try these. I’m a 16yo up and rising junior golfer. Current handicap +3. I’m 6’ tall. Driver club head speed 119-120. Ball speed 165-175ish. My smash factor is very very good. I can be a great tester for these shafts.

I am 82 and don’t track a handicap anymore but I have been as low as a 4 and as high as a 15. I have been playing for 77 years. Older brother was a head pro for many years and I used to help him with group lessons. The course where he was pro tried to hire me to replace brother when he retired but I said no. Senior shafts now.
