(3) TESTERS WANTED: PING G410 Drivers

Now that MyGolfSpy’s Most Wanted Driver testing is in the books, it’s time to get down to the serious business of what really matters – what you think of the 2019 crop of drivers. We’ve hit the shots, collected the data, sifted through the results and reported it all, but now it’s your turn.

PING’s G400 drivers were the belle of the ball in 2018, and even though the new G410 didn’t win, place or show this year, it continued PING’s run of strong performing drivers. To kick off our 2019 MyGolfSpy Forum Member Review season, we want to give you the opportunity to test the G410 for yourself.

Testers Wanted:

The G410 Plus breaks new ground for PING – it’s the company’s first driver with a sliding adjustable weight. Not revolutionary, to be sure, but a first for PING. The G410 SFT (Straight Flight Technology) is designed to help the golfer who fights a case of the rights with a fixed weight in the heel.

We’re looking for three avid and detail-oriented golfers to give a thorough test of PING’s new offering, and share their thoughts with MyGolfSpy’s Community Forum. Are the G410’s worthy successors to their predecessors? We want to know what you think!

As per the OEMs wishes, this review opportunity is open to any motivated golf fanatic who calls North America home.

How To Apply

All of MyGolfSpy’s Community reviews require a serious commitment on the part of the reviewer. You will need to be motivated, detail oriented and savvy with online forums, so please make sure you read the following instructions carefully and apply in the proper place.

Our member reviews are published in our Community Forum (click here to check them out). Writing a thorough, detailed and honest review is a lot of work – you’ll be writing detailed accounts of your two-month-plus journey, as well as participating in the MyGolfSpy Community Forum itself to answer questions and discuss product performance with other golfers.

That means to be a potential reviewer you must be a registered member of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, where you’ll find nearly 70,000 like-minded golfers from all over the world anxious to talk about golf equipment.

To apply to test and review (and keep) a PING G410 driver, here’s what you have to do:

– First, please sign up for the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to register).

– Second, apply ONLY in the Official PING G410 Driver Review Application thread in the MyGolfSpy Forum (click here).

We’ll be selecting our testers next week, so make sure to check the MyGolfSpy Community Forum to see if you’ve been chosen. Good luck!

I currently use a G400. I find it to be forgiving and plenty long enough. My swing speed is 115mph and above depending on the aches and pains. I am a 6 hdcp and play 4 times a week. The G400 give a bit of confidence that I couldn’t get with other brands. If the G410 is better I would like to see it.

I’m really looking forward to following along with these reviews, this driver really has my interest up, it has been over 10 years since I have played a Ping as TaylorMade and Callaway have consistently ruled the driver roost in my bag for over a decade. Might be time to make a change.
Good luck to all of the selected testers, this should be a fun testing for sure.

If it plays as well as it looks, I would love to try this club. It looks modern without trying to look too futuristic. I like it being adjustable, but not looking crazy on the sole. It is the perfect mix of modern and classic. I’ve never owned a Ping driver, but if it is like their other clubs, it has to be good.

I would love to go back to a PING Driver. Currently using a Cobra LTD which has about the same distance as the PING 400, but more accuracy for my swing. I do however, stay with PING on my irons, wedges and putter. The new PING driver would be lovely to try out and report back to MyGolfSpy on. I have written articles for magazines within the NW and been on the radio. I was also one of the winners of Annika’s Share-the-passion Sweepstakes in 2007.

I have been wanted to be a tester for a long time now, but just never responded in time or was one of the many who felt their open-minded opinion wasn’t valued or appreciated, I am anticipating being on the golf course in early to mid-April, so being part of this testing team would be a real kick in the pants to jump start my golf season!
