(4) TESTERS WANTED: 2018 Most Wanted PING G400 Drivers

10,071 shots over 245 hours.

That’s how many and how long it took for MyGolfSpy to crown the PING G400 LST the Most Wanted Driver of 2018.

And not for nuthin’, PING’s G400, G400 Max, and G400 SFT were also strong performers.

There were an awful lot of outstanding performers in this year’s Most Wanted testing, which tells us one thing – while there may not be one driver out there that’s best for everyone, there is one driver out there that’s best for you. And with four drivers finishing in the top half of our testing, there’s a decent chance a PING driver may, in fact, work for you.

But let’s put that premise to the test, shall we?

G400-BNR-2

TESTERS WANTED!

Back in school, whether it was math or science class, they always wanted you to check your work. Well, that’s what we want you guys to help us out with. We’re looking for four of you to test and review (and keep) a PING G400 driver – whichever one you feel best fits your game.

It could be the low-spinning, Most Wanted champ G400 LST, or it could be the ultra-forgiving and Tour-proven G400 Max, or the standard G400 or the G400 SFT – it’s your call. Whichever one it is, we want you to give it a thorough going over and let us know how it performs – for YOU.

G400 MAX-105

HOW TO APPLY:

As you know, MyGolfSpy takes its product testing very seriously. All of our reader reviews are published in our Community Forum (click here to check them out). We expect a lot from our reviewers – writing a thorough, detailed and honest review is a full two-month commitment, requiring extensive range and on-course work as well as participation in the Forum itself to answer questions and discuss product performance with other golfers.

That means to be a potential reviewer you must be a registered member of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, where you’ll find thousands of like-minded golfers from all over the world anxious to talk about golf equipment.

To apply to test, review and keep your PING G400 driver, here’s what you have to do:

– First, if you haven’t already, please sign up for the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to register).

– Second, apply ONLY in the Official PING G400 Driver Testers Wanted Thread in the Community Forum (click here).

G400-BNR-6

The testers will be announced next week in the MyGolfSpy Community Forum.

Thanks to MGS for a great Giveaway. Signed up for the G400 Max, but since it came out I can’t help but wish for a G400 Max SFT version . . .

I’ve always used ping golf clubs. My 1st set was the eye 2’s, then g5, g10 k15 and now I’m using ping Anser irons and driver. I even use ping center shaft putter which I love. I would love to use the g400 driver and will be looking to buy the g700 irons when they are out. I am a true ambassador for ping clubs, and a member of Bear Mountain golf course in Victoria BC Canada. Thanks Lionel

I would like to test the G400 but you have to jump thru to many hoops I was thinking we were going to submit name and e-mail and wait to be selected. Jumping all over Ping’s mumbo jumbo ain’t worth the effort…

Where’s the jumping? Go to the application thread in the forum and apply. What could be easier?

      Hi D.A. —

No worries – our Community Forum Test & Review program surely isn’t for everyone. We strive to make our Community Reviews as thorough, detailed and professional as possible, and as a result we ask a lot from our readers – it’ a full two month commitment! In addition, since PING offers 4 variations of the G400, we feel it’s important for a tester to select the right model for them. Outside of getting fit in person, it’s as close as we can get to making sure our testers test products that would best suit their games – not perfect, by any means, but better than eeny-meeney-miney-moe, don’t you think?

We ask our testers for very detailed reviews involving extensive range work as well as on-course evaluation and original photography. We also ask they be involved in our Community Forum to answer reader questions and take part in ongoing discussions about the product. It’s a lot, no doubt! In fact, we’ve had reviewers who – once they learned what was involved – decided due to work and/or family obligations, they couldn’t put in the required time and offered their review slot to another applicant. That kind of integrity is one of the many reasons why we love our readers!!

So again, no worries if our review program isn’t the right fit for you. We do have periodic give aways – which is just what it sounds like. Keep your eyes peeled for those, and thanks for reading!
