Fairway woods, hybrids, and crossovers are the Jan Brady of golf clubs (Marsha-Marsha-Marsha!). Drivers get all the love and attention, and irons are the bling we love to flash. But a fairway wood or hybrid fitting isn’t likely going top the Must Do list for most people.
But according to top fitters, that’s a mistake. “The gap between driver and your last iron is an area that most golfers pay very little attention to,” says James Lee, Master Club Fitter at PING Golf. “But it’s an area that if done properly can make huge improvements in a players game.”
Can the right mix at the top end of the bag make a difference in your game? Let’s put that to the test, shall we?
TESTERS WANTED
So how do you pick the right crossover/hybrid/fairway mix? We are looking for FOUR of you to be fit by an authorized PING fitter for the right set of G410’s. Not only will you be testing/reviewing the specific clubs, but you’ll also be reviewing if the Jan’s are every bit as important of the Marcia’s, and should get the proper love.
The fitter will help you determine the right mix of fairway woods, hybrids, and crossovers for the long end of your bag.
As per OEM guidelines, this review opportunity is open to any avid golfer plying his trade in the US of A.
HOW TO APPLY
All of MyGolfSpy’s Community reviews require a serious commitment on the part of the reviewer. You will need to be motivated, detail oriented and savvy with online forums, so please make sure you read the following instructions carefully and apply in the proper place.
Please note this is not a giveaway or contest. We’re looking for four people committed to making a full evaluation and writing a detailed review for our Community Forum. Testers will be selected based on how well they demonstrate that commitment in the Forum Application Thread.
That means to be a potential reviewer you must be a registered member of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, where you’ll find thousands of like-minded golfers from all over the world anxious to talk about golf equipment.
To apply to test and review (and keep) the fitted PING G410 clubs, here’s what you have to do.
– First, if you haven’t already, please sign up for the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to register).
– Second, apply ONLY in the Official PING Long Game Fitting/Gapping Review Application thread in the MyGolfSpy Forum (click here).
We’ll be selecting our testers next week, so be sure and check back to see if you are picked.

I have been hitting PINGS for 15 years now and would love the opportunity to try out some of their new technology.
