(5) TESTERS WANTED: Cleveland Frontline Putters

Is everything we’ve heard about high MOI and rear center of gravity in golf clubs wrong? When it comes to putters, Cleveland Golf is saying what’s upfront may be better than junk in the trunk. The tech behind its new Frontline putters moves the center of gravity forward thus lowering MOI.

The designers at Cleveland Golf say this is a good thing.

Testers Wanted

That’s what Cleveland says, but we want to know what you say. We’re looking for FIVE of you to put the Frontline putter technology to work and report back to the MyGolfSpy Community Forum. If you’re an avid, motivated, and detail-oriented golfer, we want you to test, review and keep a FrontLine putter, and see and feel for yourself if there is a difference in your putting.

This testing is open to right and left-handed golfers who reside in the US.

NOTE, the Elvado Single Bend model is the only model Cleveland has available for lefties; right-handers may select from any of the models and different shaft bends.

How to Apply

As you know, MyGolfSpy takes its product testing very seriously. All of our reader reviews are published in our Community Forum (click here to read some). We expect a lot from our reviewers – writing a thorough, detailed and honest review is a full two-month commitment, requiring extensive putting green and on-course work as well as participation in the Forum itself to answer questions and discuss product performance with other golfers. That means to be a potential reviewer, you must be a registered member of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, where you’ll find thousands of like-minded golfers from all over the world anxious to talk about golf equipment.

To apply to test, review and keep your Cleveland Frontline putter, here’s what you have to do:

– First, if you haven’t already, please sign up for the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to register).
– Second, apply ONLY in the Cleveland Frontline Putters Testers Wanted thread in the Community Forum (click here)

Good luck, we’ll be announcing the test participants next week, so check back in the forum community to see if you are chosen.

I would love to test these. In the past few months, I’ve gone deep on toe hang, stroke type, MOI, and I’ve spent hours with multiple ardmores, the spider x, evnroll 2.2 and 5, and the Odyssey 7s (and 7). There are so many wonderful putters out there. I am also a huge fan of the Wilson Staff Infinite Series. I also picked up the Tommy V3 but quickly sold it to a friend who fell in love with it. I’d love to be a tester!

I’ve never used a Cleveland putter, wedges yes putter no. I use a Bettinardi Queen B3 and just switched to the TaylorMade Spider Tour with great success.

Have been using original Ping Anser or Odyssey Whie Hot #1 for years. 11 handicap, possibly new technology might lower it a stroke or two.

I’m 71, a lefty with a 19 handicap. I play 2-4 Rounds of golf a week at a local small town golf course. I would be thrilled to test the Cleveland Elevado putter.

I totally understand while several of these testings are only open to residents of the US. However, it’d be nice if you could say that within the email you send out. It would save searching for this question. We all want to be testers, because we’re all gear nerds. I’ve contributed to the community and support everything that you’re doing. I’d just like to see that added to your emails regarding testing. Thanks guys! And whoever gets to test the putters, cheers!

MGS and Cleveland coming through with some more good forum testing. I gamed the 2135 Elevado CB for a year and it was good.

I already bought and sold the cero. This is a high quality putter…feel and roll were great…looked great. simply too heavy feel for me. i like lighter feeling putters. this grip was heavy. i was gonna change it out to a lighter one. but decided to basically get my money back. definitely worth a look
