SuperSpeed Golf helps you increase swing speed using OverSpeed Training, which is exactly what it sounds like it is.
OverSpeed training creates a neurological reset and trains your brain and muscles into believing you can swing the club with more speed. It makes the body move faster than usual during training to permanently increase the neuromuscular reaction time of the body. In plain English: swinging a training stick faster than normal causes your brain to remember this faster speed, and even start expecting it.
You don’t get into the bags of 700+ touring professionals and 100,000s of everyday golfers unless it works.
We’re confident it will work for you, too.

2 years agoWould love to test this product. I’m a right handed golfer and I just had my 10 surgery on my left knee and I’m wanting to find something to help me get back in shape and help me hit the ball as far as I did before surgery.

2 years agoI am not asking to be a tester.
Rather, I thought that I would pass along my experience (to date) with this product.
I purchased the SuperSpeed swing sticks and radar in late October 2018 and established a base speed of 95 m.p.h. with the lightest of the swing sticks on my fastest swings.
I then began (more or less faithfully) to follow the SwingSpeed protocol and have continued to do so.
At the same time I began searching YouTube for instructional videos on how to gain swing speed. There are many of such videos, however, after many hours of watching, I found that videos on increasing swing speed produced by Athletic Motion Golf, Dr. Sasho Mackenzie and Larry Cheung to offer good insights and clear presentations. I have stuck with those and attempted to incorporate some of the ideas presented in those videos while continuing with the Swing Speed protocols.
So what has been my personal experience?
First let me say that I am a relatively fit 73 years old who carried a 9.3 handicap index when the 2019 golf season ended in Ontario, Canada last October.
Over the course of the winter and early spring I have experienced the first two “plateaus” in swing speed that SuperSpeed posits.
The first plateau saw my fastest swings increase to the range of 98-100 m.p.h. with the lightest swing stick. This increase happened almost immediately; however, it seemed that there was little progress from that point until March 2020. As a result of that perceived lack of progress, I experienced a certain amount of frustration and found that I did not follow the SwingSpeed protocol as rigorously as I could have. It was also during this period of time that I looked for alternative approaches to enhancing swing speed on YouTube and tried incorporating what I felt to be the best of that advice.
March and the prospect of a new golf season brought about a renewed commitment to the SingSpeed protocol, this time with a clearer understanding of the necessary kinetics to produce and maintain speed.
Now, I can report that I have reached a second plateau in terms of my swing speed. My current clubhead speed on my fastest swings with the lightest swing stick (green) is in the range of 105-108 m.p.h. Moreover, my swing to swing clubhead speed is more consistent and I seem to be able to reach 103 m.p.h. even on my “slow days”.
In conclusion, I am very satisfied with my SwingSpeed progress and the value of that product. On the other hand, I do feel that part of that progress may be attributable to incorporating some of the coaching advice offered by AMG Golf, Dr. Sasho Mackenzie and Larry Cheung.
I hope that this post will offer some encouragement to all of my fellow posters who wish to find some additional clubhead speed.
best,
Peter

2 years agoPeter, thanks for the tip on other coaching sources. I will be sure to check them out.

2 years agoThanks Peter. Given that we’re (mostly) all isolated at home, I too was interested to increase my swing speed. I’m 67 and reside in the Toronto area and have a 94 mph driver speed and wouldn’t argue in increasing it a bit without hurting my back or other body parts. I will review your YouTube suggestions as well. I wouldn’t turn down a testing opportunity for the SpeedSticks if MyGolfSpy would ship them North of the 49th. Be well and be safe to all.

2 years agoI am a 12 year old golfer who loves the game. Sometimes it’s not easy as I have autism and the current situation is very difficult for me and I would love to use the speed stick to improve my game

2 years agoHave you been a forum member in the past? There’s a difference. I’ve been a member for a few years and have had the good fortune to participate in testing twice now. It is a time consuming process not befitting those simply looking for a freebie. If you wish to test, I encourage you to sign up, get active and your opportunity to test will come. Remember, it’s a testing opportunity, not a giveaway sweepstakes.

2 years agoHi I purchased mine six weeks ago and I am now into the last day of my first level training.
The first time I swung it I registered a 105 mph – that was an evening after a few rounds of beers and I told myself I could swing it a bit higher without alcohol in my system.
True enough in the morning when I officially started my training I recorded a 110mph which I used as my baseline for comparing gains to be achieved. In the course of this training I recorded 120mph, 121mph, 122mph and a high of 123mph. These readings were first achieved on my third /fourth week. All these are saved and validated in my Instagram account.
In short these sticks really work but like in any undertakings you have to follow the instructions and guidelines and train religiously to achieve success.
Remember though, to avoid dissatisfaction, your swing speed gains in your training, unless you are a tour pro, might not exactly transfer to your driver. The simple explanation to this, is physics and aerodynamics – the head of the driver. However in irons it will be evident.
One thing for sure you will definitely increase your swing speed.
By the way, I’m 54 with a 7.9 handicap.

2 years agoThanks for the opportunity. I have already been using the SuperSpeed System for several years. I train regularly and have seen nice increases. Not off the charts but enough to keep me out distancing my playing partners on a regular basis. Good luck to new testers and users.

2 years agoI am from downunder and my passion is golf but in 2016 I got Shingles which lead to permanent. nerve damage in my left shoulder and chest so playing golf can get extremely painful. However I fight it as long as I can. On a good week I can manged 2 rounds, on a bad none. Luckily there are more good weeks than bad.
I am not sure if the testers you are looking for are outside the USA however I would like the opportunity if that is the case.
However I too fully support the idea of selecting first responders and nursing staff.

2 years agoI have been using the MGS site since 2017 abd have applied to be a tester multiple times. Now it seems I can’t access the system as I’m considered a ‘RECRUIT’. I was a ‘RECRUIT’ 43 years ago when I enlisted in the US Navy and that was the last time.
I appreciate reading the reviews and listening to NPG when a topic that peaks my interest is discussed. I fail to totally understand this new policy. as I just love the game and don’t need all the other things I see required of a :FULL MEMBER.

2 years agoJust a thought, but would it be possible to choose testers that are also essential workers on the front lines of this pandemic? I for one would be happy to give up a testing slot so that a more deserving forum member can potentially benefit from the purported gains. If not for this test (since it’s already been established with no job information requested), just a friendly suggestion for future opportunities.

2 years agoFirst time users of the forum are not eligible to apply for trials. Don’t waste your time its just a ploy to get more users signed up.
Chris Nickel
2 years agoJason – Not at all. To the degree possible, we’d like our testers to be engaged members who support our efforts and want to be part of our community.
I get that everyone wants free stuff and frankly if the first time you’re engaging with the forum is to sign up for a member test, it’s likely not an idea fit.
Jenni Fritz
2 years agoI would have to disagree Chris. My daughter is 16 years old and an aspiring junior golfer who would make an excellent tester of your product. She practices/trains everyday and is coming back from a wrist injury and looking to regain the ridiculous club speed she had prior to her injury. She is not a member of the forum but is a well spoken, intelligent, diligent young lady who would make a great candidate regardless of her being a prior member or not. I do believe she has joined the member forum as of now and will be making application for your study.
Chris Nickel
2 years agoJenni – Thanks for your reply. Your daughter does sound like someone we’d like to be active in our member tests. Anything we can do to encourage junior golfers (and particularly females!) is beneficial.
That said, with 80,000+ forum members, it’s impossible for our volunteer moderators to consider every possible exception. Given the volume, we need to screen applicants in some fashion and do what we can to try and eliminate those who are just looking for free gear and/or won’t be committed to the process. If you have any questions, please reach out to me directly. Thanks for your support of MyGolfSpy!

2 years agoJust and FYI, tis isn’t a get read for spring or quick fix program. it takes a committed 49 to 72 weeks to gain full stustatinable increases. you will see some increase after 4 weeks, but if you don’t stick with the prescribed regimen, you will lose those original gains.

2 years agoThanks but I will pass . I found it to not be the best trainer to gain speed . It has many faults . Overpriced. Easy to make very cheap. If one wants to give it a shot . Hint : If your swing sucks it will suck even more after .

2 years agoNumerous times I had thought about trying this. But I’ve had one elbow repaired and the other one has tendonitis. Call me a skeptic but I just cannot believe that swinging weighted bars will be good for my long-term elbow health. Not saying it doesn’t work or it’s not good for some people. Anyone out there have similar issues and has tried it?

2 years agoI would love to test this! I have thought about purchasing these. I recently did a swing speed training through Top Speed Golf, and would love a chance to personally test the two programs. Thanks for the opportunity!

2 years agoI bought these for my son (9 yrs old) and myself about a month ago. His personal goal for this school year is to hit 150 yd drives (which is quite a stretch considering he started the year hitting 80 yd drives). Since we can’t go to the driving range I figured this would help work on his swing speed. Interestingly, he’s more motivated to use these than hitting balls at the range. He likes seeing how fast he can swing and keeps trying to up his speed. It does nothing for the quality of his swing however, which has deteriorated since he doesn’t actually hit balls. It does seem to be helping improve his swing speed. His driver swing speed has gone up from the mid-40mph to the low 50mph range. His fastest was a 73mph uncontrolled flail that he is quite proud of. I’ve seen a more modest increase in driver speed, but I have been able to get into the low 100 mph range. One benefit I’ve seen, especially with the radar, is being able to see how adjustments to my swing and tempo affect clubhead speed.
