My name is Adam Beach. This place, this site, it’s more than just a business to me, it truly is an expression of who I am and what I believe in, down to my core. I feel the work I do is a reflection of who I am and the idea behind the work I do is more important than the work itself. You see, I don’t actually see myself in the golf business at all, I am in the business of caring. I am a guy who wakes up with one goal: do the right thing.

nobody is going to buy the taylormade r9, it has a smaller head size, it’s too expensive, and the r7 was a disappointment.

Hopefully manufacturers will design a new prototype series and release only the best they tested. Unfortunately there are many major manufacturers who believe they need to design and release 2,3, or even 4 newer prototypes hoping that at least one of these will be a big success. This approach is for losers who do not have genuine new functional technology. They try to sell their product with bells and whistles rather than new cutting edge functional products. Fortunately there are several manufacturers that do focus on real thought out technology (Ping) rather than throwing multiple prototypes (TaylorMade) out in the market hoping one of them makes a big hit. Actually the hope that one of several new prototypes makes a hit insults the buyer who pays a very inflated retail price only to drastically lower the price a few months later. The companies that adhere to this technique should lose any credibility with their ripped of customers when they see the heavily reduced prices a few months later.

I would have to disagree…even if you have a great technology it still needs to be tested.
