The MOI MONSTER!
If you find yourself being a crazy fan of the Hi-BORE series from Cleveland Golf, then this new Cleveland Hi-BORE MONSTER XLS will be right up your alley. The reason is simple…not much has changed. From the looks of it and what we hear from our source the only change will be some additional weighting on the outside skirt of the sole which will push this baby to the limits of the MOI allowance.
Where’s Waldo
If you have a keen eye (Wink…Wink) and look close enough you can see how the brilliant think tank marketers over at Cleveland figured out a way to slip the MOI abbreviation in the new name of the driver. It is kind of like one of those “Where’s Waldo” games. What do you guys think…Clever or Lame?
Other Cleveland Driver for 2009
We also wrote last week about Cleveland’s other driver release for 2009 the Cleveland Launcher which many thought would be their only new wood for the year. But way back in February we saw a glimpse of what was to come for the 2009 Hi-BORE series when they released this model in Korea.
