You may have noticed that there’s an evolution of sorts taking place at Cleveland Golf. It wasn’t all that long ago that the company launched the MY CUSTOM WEDGE program which, to a reasonable extent, allows you to design your own custom Cleveland Wedge.
Earlier this year it launched the Pelz Corner video tips series, and the company is currently hosting short game clinics at golf courses all over the country.
Let’s call the effort what it is – Cleveland is refocusing its attention on the short game.
The latest endeavor under that larger initiative is the soft launch of what Cleveland is calling its Tour Rack Wedges. It’s actually pretty interesting; for all of its success in the wedge business, Cleveland has kept the script pretty simple. The company has traditionally offered plenty of loft and bounce options with nearly every release, but hasn’t really offered much variety in the grind.
While Cleveland competitors like Vokey and Callaway have embraced the idea that different players have different needs when it comes to the way the club head interacts with the turf, Cleveland has focused on bounce, and nearly bounce alone as the distinguishing performance feature. That’s about to change, and it starts at the Cleveland Tour Rack.
Cleveland Golf Tour Rack Wedges
Cleveland is taking a very interesting approach with the new Tour Rack. While different offerings will almost certainly pop up throughout the season, they’ll be extremely limited (less than 300 of each piece), and that means they won’t last long. The wedge designs, grinds, and finishes come from the tour-proven and prototype designs found in the bags of Cleveland’s tour staff.
What’s most interesting, and to me anyway, exciting is that Cleveland won’t be making any huge advertising push around the Tour Rack program. You won’t even find details on its website. Releases will not only be limited, they’ll be unscheduled – at least for the first several releases.
Instead, Cleveland will distribute the wedges through select retailers and I’m certain they’re going to sell fast. If you’re not in-the-know, you probably won’t be able to get you hands on them.
For a list of retailers call 1-800-999-6263, or contact [email protected]

Thank you Cleveland and Golfspy crew for this chance to win.
John Riordan
8 years agoI would like to see a 64 degree wedge.
George
8 years agoThank you MyGolfSpy so much for the chance to win these wedges. I usually don’t win anything so it was quite a shock when I got the news. Also, a big thank you to Cleveland Golf for supplying these amazing short game tools. Yes, they look and feel even better in person.
Sincerely
George

8 years agoSaw on Twitter that @gotj1 was the winner of these Cleveland wedges.
Congratulations to you, Jorge en Fuego.
And that photo you use on Twitter of your two boys is terrific 🙂

8 years ago100% Cleveland in the bag and Cleveland bag since 1999. Another great offering from the company with the most consistent performing products in golf today. I have been looking at Hopkins wedges as an alternative to Cleveland just to be able to get a custom grind…not any more!
Gino
8 years agoFor years I’ve fallen in and of love with my Cleveland 60. It been rusting, and I’ve tried everything from sandpaper, to my dremmel, when just recently a golf shop employee told me that is what it’s supposed to do! Was he pulling my leg…embarrassed!
Joe Milone
8 years agoI would like to see more finishes.
Michael Johnson
8 years agoWould love to see forgiveness incorporated.

8 years agoWould love to own the last wedges made before they go belly up

8 years agomaybe grind and color options.
McaseyM
8 years agoI love the look of these wedges. I’m not up on all of the grinds and not sure if I’m good enough to notice the difference. I personally like customization stamping or engraving, putting the name of each oft daughters on a wedge soni can call it my Grace wedge instrad of my 50/gap wedge. Replaceable faces would be good so you don’t have to replace the head.
Bill
8 years agoThese have a nice look, but my copper 54* and 58* still catch my eye after several wonderful years of use.
Hugo
8 years agoOffering different grind options
Moyboy72`
8 years agoI love triple grind soles. I wish Cleveland Golf would give more extreme grinds.
Dan R
8 years agoMore finishes and custom engraving.
chrisG
8 years agoorange grips and paint filled stamping…… yes please!
Florian
8 years agoI love the look of these wedges. Maybe they could come in all sorts of funky colours? Or a traceable ID number – so that if someone steals my stuff again – I could find it on the off chance??!!
Tommy
8 years agoCleveland, I need ONE thing from you, My problem is I’m standing to close to the ball AFTER I hit it. Other than taking up another sport I suck at, my friends tell me your clubs can help me. So, HELP!
Adam Blakely
8 years agoI think more colors would be cool – similar to the Vokey indigo option. Other than that, I don’t know what else they can do!
Gordon
8 years agoNot much more they can do with the wedges, unless there is a way to make the grooves bigger.
Greg
8 years agoLooks like a sexy wedge, but seems to have a lot of bounce. Would like to see different grinds.
Symon
8 years agoIf it could do the spin and distance control for me that would be great. I’m thinking some sort of laser guided system. Self cleaning would be great too.
Alex
8 years agoIf they do offer select special grinds, I would like a detail description of which grind is a solution to which problem or what it prevents. Which grind works better out of light fluffy sand or which one works better out of thin muddy grass. I know a lot has to do with the swing that you are taking also but all I am asking for is the best possible way to pick out the grind.
dave croombs
8 years agohow can you improve perfection and these wedges just have the look of perfection
pgapro
8 years agoCleveland makes great wedges, after all Roger Cleveland name is on the Callaway wedges;
just keep simple for the average golfer.
andrew
8 years agoi’m with so many of the others here- custom finishes!
Brad
8 years agoIt’s obvious that the wedge will perform, so for the most important option for a limited availability club is going to be look. I would love to see some unique finish options. I would also like to see more love north of the border as almost all of this stuff will not make it out of the more prestigious pro shops in the US. We get shafted up here. Speaking of being shafted, throw some premium shafts and grips on the wedges as well.
TJ
8 years agobeautiful wedges, im a minimalist when it comes to my clubs. I took the paint fill out of my RTX 588’s wedges and the look awesome, I would add a picture if I know how. I love the raw lock of these through.
David Vasquez
8 years agoI would love to have a personal grind. I am not a wedge guru but I think a custom fitting and grind would be perfect.
Jim B.
8 years agoFlame Finish with grind options would be sweet!
Doug Sevier
8 years agoI really like these!! I think more customization (paint, stamping, etc) would be a great benefit!
Keith Lawrence
8 years agoMore bounce options for Lefties. Seems we are always limited in our selections. I play mostly in las Vegas and standard bounce options aren’t always ideal for turf and sand conditions here.
Gifford Dunn
8 years agoLike the look – would look even better in my bag! Custom paint fill would be awesome.
Mister
8 years agoJust my initials. Then I’d game them as they are.
chad wittekind
8 years agoI just bought Taylormade ATV wedges this year 56 and 60 .I sold off my old Cleveland Tour Action 588 Wedges due to the new sole on the Taylormade they are easy to from any condition .That being said they lack the feel and spin of my old 588 wedges . So maybe Cleveland could integrate a more playable sole similar to the ATV .
Dan
8 years agoWould like to see options such as square grooves for those of us who will never be on the PGA tour.
Kyle L.
8 years agoI’d like to see more public offerings of select clubs such as these.
Mike Peck
8 years agoLike the look, it looks camo and that would go good in my bag.
cocheese
8 years agoI’d say add more grind options, because you can never have too many grind options I guess. I’d also say go more spartan/classic on the looks. All the wild graphics are distracting and a bit too modern for my taste.
Yeo Teck Seng
8 years agoMake Cleveland wedges in forged finishing to allow for customization such as bending or lie and loft
I love the black finishing and make these wedges available in Kbs black colored shafts to complement the stealthy look
Good job MGS and Cleveland!
Rodney G
8 years agoI would like to see the entire selection of loft, lie and grind options offered in LH.
Nic
8 years agoI would like to see Cleveland produce more videos with their tour pros involving the new equipment.
Sylvain
8 years agoLove Cleveland, and after what they did with their Classic Driver, I’d love to have the wedges in my bag too. What I would like the most is for Cleveland to play this “vintage” or “Classic” wild card while everybody else (Nike, Cobra, TM) is going more “modern” style!
Chris C
8 years agowould like to see these made in 64, 60, 54, 56 lofts
Troy
8 years agoI would like to see a coupon for a wedge fitting including adjustment from a PGA pro or approved Cleveland retailer. Just in case they are too flat/upright/long/short/strong/weak they could be adjusted for free giving the player has the confidence that they can fully take advantage of what these fantastic looking wedges have to offer.
Scott
8 years agoA Team America club. Red grips, white shaft and blue hue wedge. Or flag image on the wedge face.
Lou
8 years agoCurrently game the cg16 black pearls in 50,56 and 60 degrees. Love their wedges. There isn’t much more they can do without breaking the usga rules as far as I’m concerned. Great job Cleveland!!
_fred_
8 years agoI would love to see some different color schemes offered but would already be very happy with these ones though… 😉
Scott
8 years agoI would like to see a raw finish that does not rust like crazy. A little is fine but when it rains the current raw finishes rust all over your other clubs and bags !
Ernest Bennett
8 years agoWould like to see wedges with more versatile bounce, I don’t have a clue. How to pick correct bounce on a lob wedge.
Rex
8 years agoHave enjoyed playing the CG-15 and 588 wedges. Cleveland wedges are the best! I don’t see what else can be improved on the Cleveland wedges.
Rick
8 years agoCleveland makes some of the most beautiful edges on the planet!! Would love to own this special set!!
Ben
8 years agoI’d like to see grind options because the correct grind and bounce will allow a proper fit. Have a slider option. Have a digger driver option. This will take a page out of hodgkins and scratch golfs book.
Ted
8 years agoI’d like to see a few different grinds offered
Jeff Heinrich
8 years agoCustom color fill in the cuts? or maybe a spot for custom engraving? otherwise i think wedges have been technically maxed out. Replaceable faces are a waste of time for most players. not sure you could do an adjustable wedge, with varying degrees of loft could you?
MD_Golf
8 years agoI’d love to see Cleveland give us the option to fully customize Tour Rack Wedges just like the PGA pros! The custom options for their wedges are nice right now, but I’d like to see real custom stamping, different grind options, etc.
9rcrazy
8 years agoCleveland makes great wedges, how about a little customization? Such as shaft options, paint fill and personalization and of course sole grind.
Terry Rytkonen
8 years agoIt’s time we get the best of the new with the grace and tradition of the “old”. I honestly just want a playable wedge with the classic look of the 588. Bring the technogly without having to “remake” the look of the wedge. If you can show me sometime that doesn’t make me squint everytime I put a club in my hand, and the forgivness and playabitly of the best designs over the year into one club. WINNER!
Jeff
8 years agoWould love to have options on face shape as well as leading edge options…a slightly smaller head would be awesome too…
JimmyO
8 years agoI know there are advantages to a rounded leading edge but I’m still a fan of seeing a straight leading edge at address.
Matt Smith
8 years agoMaybe a little heel relief, and slightly more weight.
will
8 years agoI’d like to see then bring back the wizard wedge or the diamond face.
Nelson Estell
8 years agoHave to agree w/other posters that a copper finish would look outstanding.
Jeff dugan
8 years agoI would like to see a website to order your wedges when you select your bounce and grind it would show you the finished product. You shod also be able to get your name or initials stamped on the club.
Seth
8 years agoThese look awesome!
Wilson
8 years agoAn opportunity to upgrade from my CG14 (56 degrees/14 bounce) which is well loved. Would like to see friendly grind options for weekend golfers (I’m a slider) to enjoy the game.
Tim Bruxvoort
8 years agoI’d like to see a forged offering. Also, a lob wedge with some heel relief for keeping the leading edge down while opening the face. Other than that, love the idea. Have been using 588 forged for 2 years.
Ed
8 years agoMake the heads a neon color so I wont forget the club when I leave it next to the green after putting, lol.
Brian
8 years agoDifferent materials, I like a softer feel around the green.
Andrew
8 years agoThey look great but would be nice to have a steel option.
Jason Jamula
8 years agoWould like to see them add some color or some flash to these make them stand out a little more maybe with stamping patterns put on from the beginning without having to customize them online or do that yourself
Joe Golfer
8 years agoI’d like to see:
— the leading edge not be too sharp, so that slightly fat shots from the fairway do not dig into the turf too badly.
— a slightly rounder toe on some of the models
— a shaft like the DG Spinner, which supposedly adds spin to wedge shots
— find a way to make the laser etching on the face more durable
— Cleveland has used dots to signify the bounce type, such as one dot for least bounce, two for medium, and three dots for most bounce. Most average golfers don’t know what the dots signify, so do a better job of either advertising it or promoting it.
— make a model where the sole is just very slightly wider than your standard Cleveland models, and make sure customers know of it, since it would be slight so that it wouldn’t be readily apparent to the eye. I often see companies have wedges that they say have a standard width sole and then one wide-sole model in which the sole is VERY much wider, such as Cleveland’s “Smart Sole” wedges. I wouldn’t want the super-wide sole, but it would help to have a slightly wider sole than the current tour models, since most of us are not tour pros. We could use a little extra help, but not the polar extremes of tour model or super-wide “Smart Sole”.
— in golf stores, they like to sell what they have in stock, so salesmen never mention custom options that would have to be ordered. It would be nice if Cleveland did more notifying to folks that they can get their wedge at 2* flat or 2* upright or 1/2″ extra long or whatever… at no extra cost.
Joe Golfer
8 years agoWould also like to see those specialty longer grips that are available on some wedges, so that a player can “choke down” on the club if one chooses to do so.
Rich
8 years agoI don’t know how Cleveland can make the RTX 588 wedge any better. Perhaps put a cut out in the sole like the renegar wedges so the leading edge sits closer to the ground.
Sorcerer
8 years agoPerhaps a bit more imagination with the color palette on the lettering.
Richard Geisel-Churchill
8 years agoI love this marketing approach….should dramatically raise value and give an avid golfer some bragging rights.
David
8 years agoCurrently game 588tt irons and RTX wedges. Cleveland does a great job. More grind options would be nice. Thanks
Scott King
8 years agoHmmm. I think it would be cool if they put out some signed editions of actual players wedges. Duplicate, have them signed and send them out. Like trading cards that actually do something.
twshoot67
8 years agoI still have my very first Cleveland wedge I ever bought a 588 BeCu 56*. I wish they would offer raw wedges more often, it seems most companies only offer Chrome or Satin. I personally like the Raw for the glare issues I tend to have with most wedges. Thanks for a nice giveaway!
Walter
8 years agoWould love to have gap wedge 50
Brian Kuznia
8 years agoGreat looking wedges! Custom grind makes sense.
madk
8 years agoI’d like to see a checkerplate finish, I think that may look pretty cool.
Bud Merrill
8 years agoLike wedges that rust! Variable grind would be nice. Still love my 588 RTG’s!
Marcus Fiddle
8 years agoLove to see them with some custom finishes and in my hands when I finally break 90
Will
8 years agoThey should make some BeCu offerings or some other exotic metals.
Joe Doctor
8 years agoI ONE these!
Stephen Kettlewell
8 years agoWould be lovely to have the option of personalising the wedges like the pros do, name, initials etc!
Tyler Hegwood
8 years agoGrind and bounce options.
ilkka vu0renmaa
8 years agoThese seems very cool. I love my rusted clevland wedges. Totally orange would ne Nice.
Fred
8 years agoI have had wedges from all the different major companies and I always seem to go back to Cleveland wedges. Everyone praises Vokey wedges for their fast array of grinds but in reality you really only need two; something that has very low bounce that gives you the ability to really open it up and pick it off the ground, or the other grind would be something slight that would still give you a lot of bounce like for bunker situations or out of the round. Really low bounce wedges are nice from hard fairways but I prefer a decent bounce angle since I really like to attack the ball. Cleveland wedges just seem to always be just right and now overly in your face.
Iuri Santos
8 years agoThe option of adding DG Spinner shafts would be great.
Ryan W
8 years agoThe ability to custom order these would be nice along with the option to have some stamping and color filling done.
matt bogue
8 years agoAdding a Cleveland 52, 56, 60 degree to my bag helped hit and hold greens more consistently once I was able to take full swings from distances inside 130 yards. It took the guessing game out of half swings with a pitching wedge and punch shots with other irons. How about an upgrade contest for future give aways? Send or tweet a pic of the Cleveland wedges you have in your bag now that could use an upgrade.
Richard Horner
8 years agoVariable degrees away from the even numbers
AB
8 years agoIncorporate some throwback designs with this new technology. Would be stellar
Steve Rayburn
8 years agoLike to see more and more wedges from Cleveland!
mike Kormsan
8 years agoThese Wedges look great. Can’t improve upon them until I hit them. 🙂
David
8 years agoI don’t know much about clubmaking but could it be possible to get adjustable bounce on golf clubs? Drivers are very customized now and I would love to see something that you could adjust your wedge from low to mid to high bounce depending on the turf at the course you are playing. This could be a game changer if you could just adjust the hosel to vary the bounce angle
doug broyles
8 years agoLike the finish option on the tour rack. Sometimes hard to find the loft and bounce I like in gunmetal at local providers.
Rob Benoit
8 years agoPictures of historic golf venues etched into the back would be sweet!
Kevin
8 years agoCleveland just needs to concentrate on wedges. Their wedge game is the best out there.
John
8 years agoThe problem with that though is that from what I can tell wedges account for like less than 10% of all golf clubs sold. The real money is in golf balls and woods. If they just did wedges they would probably have to really cut down on their staff and would lose a lot of their staffers. Look up how many people are still using the Classic driver and their irons like the 588 MB’s and CB’s.
John Lawton
8 years agoI would like to see customization on the shafts as well as additional specialization of blades
bucketsofjoy
8 years agoI think what would benefit my game the most would be to extend the grooves of the clubface onto the hosel. I’m not sure if this would truly be beneficial, but it would make me feel like a pro.
Lee H.
8 years agoAwesome contest…Guess I would like to see the ability to make your own custom design (within reason), while incorporating the best Cleveland has to offer.
Brad
8 years agoI would love to see more customization options. Any type of grind/color fill/stamps/wedge finish…
AWOL
8 years agoI would absolutely love to see a left handed offering if it doesnt already and KBS shafts are the best and should be standard and i would love to see a little more color like maybe a blue finish like the Vokeys
Keylan Kado
8 years agoThese are “tour” racks so when you look at tour players bags and look at their wedges we should be able to pull off the same things, with the exception of custom grinding them in the tour van. These are sick wedges but with some personal “tour” touches to them instead of being 1/150 they could be 1 of a kind!
Golfer Burnz
8 years agoHow about a naked wedge. Raw steel and minimal stampings.
Fozcycle
8 years agoI am in the market for new wedges and the Cleveland Tour Rack’s would fit in my bag!
Luke K
8 years agoOne of my regular golf buddies this year got the “shanks” mid season. For him it might be beneficial if Cleveland would start putting zip grooves all the way up the hosel.
Jason
8 years agoWedges look great! I’d love to see additional finishes available, oil can being my personal favorite 🙂
Travis Robbins
8 years agoLove the look of these wedges. I just recently purchased a set of Vokey’s and really like how they help you choose your bounce and grind. Something for other manufacturer’s to consider.
Ryan
8 years agoSuper high bounce options with a narrower sole design and heel relief.
For me the wider soles with less bounce is less versatile.
John
8 years agoWith so many options in the current wedge offerings, I’m not sure what else could be done. These Cleveland wedges look amazing and I would love to have them in my bag!
Travis
8 years agoUpgraded shafts (at no charge).
Tony
8 years agoI’ve always played Cleveland wedges, however, I don’t care for the current Rotex, I prefer the 588. I would like to play these wedges.
Fernand Duchesne
8 years agoGreat transition , if well balance and weighted . Tour wedges Wil always be ready to have it’s place in my Bag!Thanks to Cleveland..and Good luck to Keegan.
Patrick
8 years agoI would love for them to come out with an updated set of the late 90’s 588 RTGs. They have come close in recent years, but something about the shape has not been captured. The pictures above actually look like they are getting pretty close.
Andrew
8 years agoThose are tight looking wedgies. I like the different finishes, this black-flake-marbel looks cool. I would love a dark green one with dark marble fissures.
Kerry Cole
8 years agoI currently play Titleist Wedges but have played the Clevelands.. The only reason I switched at the time was due to lack of diversity in grinds.. It now seems that Cleveland is coming up to the plate on variety in this area.. Would love to try them again.. Good luck to all in this drawing…
Brian
8 years agoI currently play all Cleveland wedges (52,56,60). I would like to see multiple shaft offerings for the wedges. The grooves and bounce options are great. Different shaft options would be a great thing to better fit the buyers specific needs (ie weight, stiffness, launch, spin)
Nathan
8 years agoI would like to see a variety of sole grinds!
Take some material away from the heel for me, I don’t feel comfortable grinding down my new Cleveland wedge myself.
LESS THAN 8DEGREES OF BOUNCE IN YOUR WEDGES CLEVELAND , Please!
More lofts, like all of them! e.g. 47 , 53
Personalisation. e.g coloured paint fill, stamping. And this made quick and easy WORLDWIDE.
Stock off the rack with a variety of shafts e.g KBS, PROJECT X, S400 TI.
There you go, I hope I have helped you to keep on being the best wedge in golf.
Marty
8 years agoI would like to see them give the customization that they do for the pros, basically any stamping i want on it.
Jon Baysore
8 years agoLove the wedges, just bought my son some. Would love the ability to add more color and maybe a custom stamp – make them unique to each individual.
RRB
8 years agoGreat looking wedges. I wouldn’t mind seeing more custom options for the product line.
andy hughes
8 years agoI left Cleveland for Vokey wedges due to the custom grinds and other options, but I might think about coming back
Ken
8 years agoI would love to be able to submit a small image and have it “stamped” on the front or back of the club.
Gene Bowe
8 years agoI would like to see some shaft options (such as KBS C- Taper) and some optional sole grinds
Brad
8 years agoThese look awesome. I’d like to see them offered in a 54 degree and some different finishes.
Thomas T
8 years agoI would like to see more finish options and the option of custom grinds.
Ronnie F
8 years agoI started using the new Cleveland 588 wedges this year and am extremely pleased. Like the new look. Hope Cleveland maintains the loft options.
Chuck Smidstra
8 years agoCustom stamps. Custom shapes of the heads themselves like the thickness of the top line.
David
8 years agoI’d love to see them offering a few more ‘extreme’ grinds,
Kinda like the Nike toe sweep for example.
Alex Kalionzes
8 years agoInteresting look on these wedges. I have been playing Cleveland wedges for my whole golfing life. If I was to make any suggestions going forward it would be to continue to make low bounce options for those of us who play on harder turf and “thin” sand bunkers. Huge bounce is great when there is soft sand, but probably 65% of courses I have played across the nation have been medium to firm sand.
stevegp
8 years agoI would like to see more traditional finishes and greater durability.
DL
8 years agoAdjustability? some days I want a 60degree, some days a 58, some days a 62…. not sure how it could be done or if it would affect bounce….
Mark
8 years agoWould like to get an up close look at these babies. LOOK GREAT.
Mike Steele
8 years agoI would like to see a 6o* with 4*’ bounce and some adjusted heel grind to help with special bunker shots.
Robb
8 years agoI would like color designs. Like solid matte colors. Sick design though!
John Handegard
8 years agoThis would be perfect for me, since ’38 is the year in which I was born and the wedges would fit into my arsenal well.
Jgolf
8 years agoI’d like to see a sharp face to sole line with some serious heel grinding (so i’d have the confidence to open up the club and slide it right under the ball).
DamonJM
8 years agoMatte shafts would be great when dealing with the Texas sun
Adam Berger
8 years agoI would love to see some custom stampings maybe some different finishes.
Bobby
8 years agoThese look great. Would love to see Cleveland put these in my bag.
stevenhw8
8 years agoThe possibility to purchase them individually and combine different wedges into your own set (grinds, finishes, stampings)
Mike R
8 years agoAs some others have said:
Shaft options
Grind options
Finish options
As it is though, these are looking goooooooooood!
Andrew Arvan
8 years agoI’d love to see a “Raw” rusty wedge offered… 🙂
klay
8 years agoI think these tour rack wedges are as perfect as they can get in design aspect. I really don’t think anything needs to be changed. But, if I have to comment on any potential future improvements, well more sole option perhaps. Thanks for the change to win!
Mark
8 years agoAre they available for lefties? Sure hope so.
Roy Jennings
8 years agoNever played Cleveland wedges. Love the look and would love to try them.
Steven Hocking
8 years agoGreat contest, would love to win these to match my woods. Wish there was some sort of wedge technology that could stop me blading the ball through the green from 50 feet out. 😉
javier
8 years agoPick me, pick me, pick me…. Love, love, love Cleveland wedges
Ron
8 years agoTime for new wedges.Mine are getting worn out! These are nice!
Chazzell
8 years agoDifferent sole widths and grinds, and maybe different leading edges so you can choose straight or rounded. I have had cleveland wedges in the past and they seem to have almost too much offset.
Salmon
8 years agoThe finish on those looks beautiful. I think what I would like to see in future releases from Cleveland is a mix of specialty and all purpose grinds which was mentioned above that they are beginning to adopt. But one thing which I think would be very interesting if its even capable of being implemented would be an adjustment system similar to the driver and their adaptors. being able to vary degree of loft and/or degree of bounce would be very helpful when playing different courses or in differing conditions. You could have 2-3 wedges that could cover a myriad of different slots.
Would love to see a full trusty rusty or oil can finishes start to come back as well.
Tony Dyck
8 years agoHard to make them better, but I would like to see them fully rusted right from the start. Just a heavy layer of rust so you have to hit them to knock it off (hopefully right in the sweet spot).
Randy
8 years agoThese wedges are beautiful, I would love the chance to game them. Cleveland wedges are simply the best.
Jack Sell
8 years agoI have never owned or even swung a Cleveland made golf club. Well this would be a first for
me and I would look forward to having the chance!
whiskey golf
8 years agoI would like to see more finish options, especially one with no finish so it can rust. I also like the idea of a matte black finish similar to the black finish on the SM5 wedges.
Mike McFerron
8 years agoI’m already playing three Cleveland wedges, but the Tour Racks are coveted. Make them customizable in every way – lie, grind, shaft, etc.
Frank Edwards
8 years agoI’m pretty traditional/conservative. So rusty wedges would not go in my bag.
But these, yes they would be perfect. Thank You
Matt Cowell
8 years agoVarious fill colors would be great for flashy players, or those of us that like our sticks, bag, attire to match. I like the bright orange that puma offers on a number of their products. Finishes are great too, gunmetal, rust, hammer look, maybe and old fashion wood grain look like the old driver club heads. Very retro. Also, various grind line patterns maybe the Cleveland C. Putters have site lines maybe throw that in the grind lines mix as well. Underneath below the paint surface in varying colors not just white. Lastly, oversized heads, that would help when I’m digging out of dense grass.

8 years agoI am noticing that Cleveland seem to be moving away from Forged Wedges. I would like to know
1 / Why.
2 / If there are advantages and if so what are they.
3 / As a consumer why should we discard our current Forged Wedges etc for the current new generation line of product.
I really do love the look of them and I am just looking for a solid reason to upgrade my current set of wedges.
Tristan Glover
8 years agoIt would be great to see a series of wedges that incorporate a design of a charity of some kind to raise awareness.
Jim
8 years agoFantastic contest. Thanks for the opportunity. Hope Cleveland follows up with a version of the 45 deg 588 model.
Tom Gorman
8 years agoI really like the Cleveland wedges and I am especially interested in a 50 degree wedge with a wide bounce to provide a gap wedge for my game.
Mark
8 years agoGreat giveaway! IF there was another option that I would like to see, it would be the ability to soft step or hard step the shafts.
Bryan
8 years agosemi custom sole grinds would be excellent!
arthur leblanc
8 years agoIt’s grooves are looking for a taste of a golf ball and would be fun to play.
Michael J
8 years agoCustom shafts and proven testing are a must, lookin good !
Tom Hearn
8 years agoI like the look of these wedges and would be proud to put them in the bag! Maybe a choice of shafts would be beneficial for future wedges!
Dean Dodge
8 years agoSo happy Cleveland is back on top with good players–tried them all and all gimmicks but hard core scoring machines are what I am after–thanks for being the leader again.
Bradley Young
8 years agoWould love to see scor-type grips on these bad boys.
norman
8 years agoReally great looking wedges. Really a natural looking golf club which is good to see in the market place
Greg h.
8 years agoCleveland wedges are the best wedges to flop my ball next to the pin. Hands down.
Jason
8 years agoI would like to see more durable grooves.
RAT
8 years agoProject X shafts
special custom designed grips (Vokey has them)
Titanium face insert ,copper & etc.
Jeff Stewart
8 years agoMaybe a Pelz edition set of wedges
Paul
8 years agoI am a wedge nut owning approximately 75 wedges of different makes from Titleist Vokeys ‘ Cleveland, Srixon, Ping and Scratch. I would like to see Cleveland offer a lob (58) wedge that can be opened up to add loft with little bounce.
kygolfer1980
8 years agoDG spinner shafts as stock shaft would be nice.
Steve
8 years agoI would like to see a slightly thinner top line and smaller “tear drop” head like many other players wedges. This one does look pretty darn good though.
gotj1
8 years agoMore grind and custom options.
Joe Carrier
8 years agoIt would be so innovative if a manufacturer came up with a wedge set that could have an adjustment mechanism for loft & lie for each club, so each person could make personal adjustments for their own game and physical strength & size. If it can be done for the metals, why not the short clubs?
David Pilgrim
8 years agoNice looking clubs, I think they hit on something with these. They would look great in my hands.
Larry Doane
8 years agoAbility to pick custom colors in the lettering
jerry l. gendron
8 years agoGood looking wedge. I`ld like to see that wedge in my bag. A deeper heel grind.
the Sheriff
8 years agogreat the way they are, no changes or additions needed
Chris Chiu
8 years agoA limited edition Keegan Bradley designed wedge in the future would be fun.
John
8 years agoI would like to see loft/bounce combinations between 55 and 60 degrees, 8 to 14 bounce, Also would prefer non-glare finishes.
Jonah Covitz
8 years agoThese wedges look great! I would like to see Cleveland have more custom grind options, different finishes, and custom stamping.
Zach
8 years agoWould like to see these in my bag!
Paul
8 years agoI’m not sure if the engineering is there for this, but perhaps wedges can have some amount
of adjustability built into them similar like drivers and wood now.
mike moldenhauer
8 years agoI’d love to see Camo, going huntin.
Cruiser1976
8 years agoMore custom finishes, really liked an old wedge that rusted.
Bill Kraus
8 years agoI would like to see a greater number of shaft options…..KBS for example
Nevin
8 years agoMore customization options would be nice. More stuff for the lefty’s would be something thatg I would like to see. I’m naturally left handed but play right handed so it wouldn’t benefit me directly but I feel for my fellow left handers who don’t get the choices I do.
Chris
8 years agoWould love to have a set of these in very dark blue with red stamping.
Lawrence
8 years agoI think the exotic finish is a fantastic approach for Cleveland. There are definitely hoards of flashy tour pros and weekend golfers who would love more exclusive finishes on their scoring clubs. Unique finishes like matte white or smokey gunmetal would be a real hit.
The finish on the Tour Rack looks awesome. It looks like the entire head was carved out of rock. For some reason, this finish looks like it would spin a golf ball better than a wedge made of regular CS or SS.
On a side note, I always wondered why big golf companies didn’t use a rougher surface
for their wedge faces. Is there a PGA rule that restricts the metallurgy used on club heads? It would be interesting if the Cleveland R&D department came up with some sort of matte/sandpaper-esque alloy metal that could be used on a club face to increase the friction in between the grooves. I would love to see something like that. Not just smaller grooves in between the grooves, like on the 588, but metal that has a higher friction factor by nature.
Captgutcheb
8 years agoLove three with the raw finish. Would be cool to have them in my bag!
craigiegolf
8 years agocan we get copper?
Will Par
8 years agoI would like to see a grind that plays well in wet, sticky lies.
Jason Lord
8 years agoI’d like to see even more metal finishes. I like the “scarred” look, so maybe expand on that with color options. Nothing can be done to improve upon the performance of a Cleveland wedge in my opinion.
John Marsh
8 years agoHopefully the TOUR RACK should come from an Amateur Proven Prototype as my 52/10 588 Rotex Face which was fitted for me
NotZoro
8 years agowould be cool if they could develop a face surface that’s more durable, I have no problem with rust or sole wear, it’s really just the grooves (edges) that wear the most.
Daniel
8 years agoGreat looking wedge –
More stampings and color options. And more Nippon shaft options
Tom
8 years agoWould like to see some variable bounce grinds
deuce
8 years agoNo paintfill option. I will do them meself.
Cory Quincey
8 years agoI would Love to see Cleveland establish “Tour Player specific” designs. Like Nike shoes has a Kobe line and a LeBron line etc….If Cleveland had a Keegan line or a Vijay line….that would be SICK!
IK
8 years agoI like the look of the wedges! most people are saying changing color, but what about changing the finish, maybe sandpaper like or smooth and rough patterned finish, or maybe just raw blades instead of the just the satin or chrome looks
Dennis
8 years agoI’d like to see more options around loft, bounce, and grind. With the strong lofts on pitching wedges these days, I depend on my gap wedge a lot. Good for long bunker shots, too. The design attributes of irons in sets change as they progress from long to short. Don’t know how different the attributes of wedge designs are from a pitching wedge found in sets, but if there’s much, perhaps they can create a market for a ‘transitional’ pitching wedge. Include them with traditional iron sets, and sell them individually as replacements for PW’s in competitive sets.
Billy Axelsson
8 years agoMore happy colors!
Shawn
8 years agoI am absolutely in love with these wedges. I am new to golf and have mostly Cleveland gear. I would not change a thing about these clubs from the finish to the grind out on them so perfect.
Ed
8 years agoThe only thing I want is more spin
Harry Bell
8 years agoQuite nice!

8 years agoUsed to have some custom cleveland wedges, sweet things.
I’d love to see cleveland offering complete customisation – to include things like weight, I love a heavy sand wedge with big bounce – but like my lob wedge to be much lighter, ground down and low bounce.
Oh and of course as much bling as possible!
Ray Parent
8 years agoI have a Cleveland wedge and use it golfing & at the range. So much so that the lazier lines are almost not there anymore. Sure could use a new set.
Ricardo del Castillo
8 years agoI would love to have my country’s flag printed in the club.
Brenton Kush
8 years agoAwesome wedges I would love to win these! What I like see incorporated into the design of future Tour Rack offerings from Cleveland Golf would be more custom stamping options and more custom paint fill colors.
Mike Tyo
8 years agoI would like to see more options available to the left handed golfer.
KC Leonard
8 years agoThis is a beautiful wedge
MG
8 years agoDon’t mind if I do! Sweet looking wedge. I’d like to see more variety in the aesthetics. Colors and patterns and that sort of thing.
Steven
8 years agoPersonalization of wedges. Color and markings
Bob Gaul
8 years agowhen I think best wedges I associate that with Cleveland.
Steinthor Sigurdsson
8 years agoI’d like to see patriot versions, where each nationality is incorporated into the graphics of the wedges. Ie national flag colors etc. Would love to own a wedge in my nations colors.
Aotearoabrad
8 years agohmmm, if I’m understanding correctly, these will be sold in sets rather than as individual wedges – so, I’m thinking two different wedge grinds within the set. Alternatively, it’d be cool to have the Tour Rack editions based on the grinds that the actual pros use (i.e. a GMAC stamped Tour Rack edition that replicates what GMAC is playing (lofts/grinds)
Regarding aesthetics, matte black heads with gloss black paintfill, on KBS black nickel wedge shafts – that’d be sick!
Peter Ciambrone
8 years agoI would like to see some original finishes, or limited edition finishes such as the Volke SM5 Indigo finish, thanks.
Al
8 years agoI’ve been waiting for Cleveland (the granddaddy of wedges) to come out with a truly distinguishable set of wedges again. Due to my poor GIR, I use my wedges often throughout the round. These will certainly provoke some conversation.
Golfstick
8 years agoLove Cleveland wedges, hope they are forged and personalized would be nice and a variable bounce sole.
James TerHaar
8 years agosure would like to win and try those clubs looks like they really could spin
Sean
8 years agoGreat looking wedges. Would like to see a manufacturer make it more accessible to amateurs to customize wedges to course conditions. I don’t know if adjustibility is the answer. What I could envision are sets that come with 4-6 heads and 2-3 shafts so that you can change out bounce and loft to best suit conditions. Envisioning a complete swap of the head of the club.
I just don’t see myself buying 6+ wedges to accomplish the same capability.
guy crawford
8 years agoThe one thing I would most like to see are a wider variety of sole and bounce options among the various lofts.
Barbajo
8 years agoDandy looking sticks! Love the finish — would like to see a 52* option, and maybe custom engraving. As Hawkeye used to say — “aahhhh, the finest kind…”
Tim witucki
8 years agoThicker grip offerings. Tend to keep the wrists from breaking.
Michael
8 years agoWow, gorgeous! I love Cleveland wedges (and FW and Drivers – I play all of them), but would love an upgrade to these.
What I would like to see is a variety of grinds – yes they’re doing that – but specifically something expanding what they did with the DSG. Also, several loft options in the 60* range, maybe 2*, 6*, 8* and 12*. Also, keep the traditional shape and size. That’s a sure winner for Cleveland. Oil and Black would be great, too.
Thanks for the contest.
Munson
8 years agoOptional extended shaft lengths for taller golfers would be a nice feature.
Also, more custom finishes, rather than bronze, or chrome.
Chris
8 years agomore grind options
Steve Stephans
8 years agoI play several cleveland wedges already and love them. I would like to see some more options for the senior player. I am a disabled Veteran and money is tight so I would love to see lower prices on all golf equipment. Expensive is not always the best.
RL
8 years agoI Love my Cleveland wedges and would gladly hang’em on the wall to have these in the bag…..
Simply stated, I would enjoy customizable fonts to tweak these even further!!!
Ken Mykietowich
8 years agoI like all the different varieties, monograms and colors. Maybe one with your Canadian fans “Eh”
Jason Cherpak
8 years agoCustom shaft options would be cool….Recoil F5s?

8 years agoI’d like a button on the butt of the grip that will send a message to beckon the beer cart gal. An on-course distress signal of sorts. I don’t CARE if it’s 7am on Sunday!
David W
8 years agoSome way to adjust bounce. I play a lot of different courses in different conditions and being able to somehow adjust the bounce would be AWESOME!
Jon
8 years agoI’d love some simplicity in the wedge market: Give us clear guidance on what bounce and grind to go for based on:
1. Our swing type – digger/slider/erratic and unsure
2. Normal course type – parkland/links/bog
3. Skill level
I’ve not bought the SM5s BECAUSE of the choice. I’d like a wedge that has enough heel relief to be opened up, enough bounce to get me outa there from web and dry bunkers, enough grooves to help me stop, and a look to inspire confidence. These Clevelands – they have the look. Bring them on.
Brian D
8 years agoAwesome looking set. I would like to see more finishes to the club, and more ways to personalize the Tour Rack series. Personalization gives me more confidence in my shots.
Richard Davidson
8 years agoLove the contrast! Perhaps a line on the hitting edge/
chris bourquin
8 years agoPaintfil and stamping is all else that would really be cool. Seriously considering goin cleveland for my next set
JEFF GARDNER
8 years agoI’d like to see different grinds as well as different groove options!
David Huey
8 years agoI would love to see various colors in the fonts used, as well as names etched in.
Mark
8 years agoVery cool looking wedges. I would like to see some technology that goes towards helping cut down on the flange causing the club to pull the face closed or the dreaded s word. Different colors would be great for future releases also.
james
8 years agoI’d like to see the wedges with winn grips
Noah Shannon
8 years agoI would love to see more custom grind options that have become popular throughout the industry. Companies like Hopkins golf have embraced extensive customization for wedges, but are also informative on the many different grind options for the consumer that doesn’t have the guidance of a professional fitter. If a more well known company such as Cleveland Golf was to embrace this approach to wedge customization, they would appeal to the consumer that wants customization, but from a more well known company.
Mark
8 years agoI would like to see KBS wedge shafts as a standard option and a raw finish, but most of all I would like to see these wedges in my bag!
Wayne Meunier
8 years agoCleveland Golf staff are the tech experts. All I could suggest is color.
Duke
8 years agoI’d like to see different weighting options. IE, have a tungsten plug added to the toe or sol to change the cg / launch of the club.
Jeff
8 years agoWould like them to be like the K grind sole.

8 years agoWould be great if you were able to order the clubs in your NFL team colors or logo.

8 years agowould a graphite shaft option be appreciated?
what bounce options are going to be offered
Thomas Weibel
8 years agoMore durability!! My Cleveland 588 were worn down after a total of 5 hours of bunker practice. They started to rust on the sole and face 🙁
Chris Haman
8 years agoI would like to see a straighter leading edge, sometimes wedges tend to be very rounded and I like my wedges to look more like a 6-iron at address (with 30 more degrees of loft, of course).
I’d also like to see a few custom stamping options, or perhaps some custom laser milling. I’ve seen some great laser milled artwork on putters that could be implemented.
Having said all that, these wedges look great in the photos, and they’d look EVEN BETTER in my bag!
Gordon McConville
8 years agoI would personally love to see Cleveland come out with a “adjustable bounce” option, and not just new or different grinds. Maybe not for this series of wedges…but a future series.
Why not have a bounce sole like what they have here, but have small “bounce plates” or something of the sort ( for lack of a better term) that could attach via a locking mechanism, like the movable weights on drivers do. For all the talk of custom grinds ect, most golfers don’t utilize that, but put something in their hand they can adjust themselves and play around with… I think it would be very interesting.
One could add or diminish their bounce without having to get a custom grind, but by adding or removing the “plates.”
I think wedges could have that sort of adjustable feature…… but I would only trust a company as proficient as Cleveland, especially with their wedges, to do it right.
Helen L
8 years agoCustom color finish options, custom shaft options and more grinds would be terrific.
Kenny B
8 years agoLovely wedges! If Cleveland wants to truly have custom wedges, then they should be custom fit to the player and the irons being played. Cleveland should be able to match the feel of their wedges to any manufacturer’s iron specs (adjusted to the player, of course) by offering shaft and weighting options.
L. T.
8 years agoNice wedges…. maybe some paint fill. Love to have them in my bag & digging
some ditch size divots.

8 years agoMy Cg 14’s are getting worn out – could use some new ones

8 years agoWould love to see more colors as well, could use some orange stamping cause I am sucker for orange 🙂
cnadon
8 years agoI’d like to see more shaft upgrades possible. I don’t play extra stiffs in the rest of my iron set, but I do like them in the sand and lob wedges.
Steve Casenza
8 years agoThese look awesome – I would love to parade them around my playing partners. Would also allow me to “pay forward” my current 588s
Dave C
8 years agoThe head color changes sound great, but please keep glare in consideration. For someone that plays at all times of the day, even my black pearl 588s can give off some glare. The pictured club look like they should be great in the sun. Wishing myself some luck in this contest.
Neil
8 years agoCleveland seems to have maxed out the head design for these wedges. So Cleveland needs to incorporate customized shafts into the ordering process for future wedges.
MK
8 years agoAdditional grip options.
Ray
8 years agoMy short game is my weakness right now. I would like to see a full set of wedges that would work nice with a game improvement iron set. These look great
Wally
8 years agoThis would make an excellent mate for my other Cleveland Wedge!!
Pat
8 years agoI like the KBS shaft idea, have one on my Edel gap wedge. Navy logo.
GEORGEG
8 years agoI MISS MY 60 3DEG BOUNCE AND 54 DIADAC WEDGE FROM Cleveland. I WORE THE FACES OUT. MY 60 WAS 3 deg BECAUSE OF TIGHT LIES(NO GRASS) AND NO SAND INTHE TRAPS.
they are the wedge kings. i use a gifted 60 deg now and a wedge form my new set. my 54 was perfect from all lies and a100yd full swing. if these new wedges give me that type of playability again my hndcp drops a few .
VCURamGolf
8 years agoKBS Spinner Shafts would be great, as well as different color schemes (bronze, gold, etc)
coopr1248
8 years agoIt’d be great to be able to customize design and finishes while also being able to choose a different color face and grooves then the rest of the clubhead.
BC
8 years agoThose look excellent. I would love to see darker paint fills that match the finish of the wedge . . . that would create a really clean look.
Gil B.
8 years agoYou mention in the article the bounce issues that Cleveland has focused on in the past. In the past? Am I missing something? I’ve played low bounce Cleveland wedges for years and I love them. Are the new offerings going to be bounce limited? The clubs pictured are beautiful and of course I’d love a set to show off, who wouldn’t? I’m sure there are non-Cleveland wedge players who just want to win a contest, which to me is absurd, but that’s just the way it is. These look really nice and thank you guys and Cleveland for their contest.
adan
8 years agoVokey has the indigo look. I think these would look great in that! Or bring back the camo look from the cg-14. Loved those just for the look!
Chuck Rodgers
8 years agoKBS Shafts as a standard shaft option would be ideal.
Jason Salinas
8 years agoMatte black finish would be really GREAT for these as well as rounded sole grind for less turf grabbing.
Jarrod
8 years agoI have used the RTG DSG versions of the wedge for awhile now and I like it a lot. However, I struggle with getting the club closed and often fan the shot. I’m sure it’s because i’m not that great of a golfer, but maybe something to help me close the face.
Corey
8 years agoUnique color finishes such as the Indigo finish Titlist did
Joseph McIntyre
8 years agoThere are a lot of good wedges and good looking wedges out there. I like how Cleveland is approaching making theirs stand out.
Jeff Mack
8 years agoI would like to see a heel grind that allows one to open the face and effectively change the bounce on the club.
Ellis H Moose
8 years agoI’d like to see more grip options. Not only size, but color. I have yellow grips that help me see the club when leaving the green so I won’t leave my wedge behind!
Thomas Olsson
8 years agoI like to se more colur, both on shaft and on club hed. I would love to see a pink wedge from head to toe 🙂

8 years agoThese wedges are very nice, i was wondering if you would create any for veteran military with a camo look?

8 years agoCustomization of colors and finishes. Duller/flat finishes without sacrificing beauty are appreciated that don’t reflect so much light are appreciated.
Gary McCormick
8 years agoI would like to see a hardened surface finish so that the textured face areas between the grooves – much more important than the grooves themselves for most shots – last longer without wearing out.
Jim Sims
8 years agoThe new wedges have an interesting look. I certainly could use new ones. Hopefully there will be some lefthanded ones.
Gary Mawhineu
8 years agoI currently use Cleveland wedges and am very happy with them.I would like to try this new technology wedges to see if shots go in as opposed to just stopping on the lip of the cup!
dennis
8 years agoI need one 🙂 Only thing I ask it a grind option…
Thomthom
8 years agoI would love to see some different color schemes offered.. Maybe University colors, sports team colors etc
Lee
8 years agoThese look great. I’d like to see more raw offerings. Maybe instead of so many bounce options, how about leading edge options for the same lofts? I know some prefer a straight leading edge and some prefer more of a radius – personally the leading edge of a wedge helps me decide on the wedge more than the bounce options.
al
8 years agoI would like to see the heads shaped like the old beryllium copper “Tour Edition” wedges
Jim
8 years agoIf you mean like the the old model 485 head, I agree totally.

Juan Carlos
8 years agoI’d love to see these guys get artsy like some of those Pimp List entries a few months back. Demascus, hand engraving, etc.
Brandon Jacobson
8 years agoGreat contest – I’d love to see some wedges that honor our veterans, similar finish to the ones in the pictures, but in a Camo color. Stealth would also be awesome. Red, White, Blue colors also would be cool too.
Jacob Edwards
8 years agoYou guys are the design kings… I’m not sure what I’d do to change them as they look great already. Every Cleveland wedge I’ve played has been satisfactory to say the least. I’m more interested in radical shaft composition and shock/vibration dampening. That’s what I’d like to see incorporated into future designs
Spencer J
8 years agoCustom sole grinds would be pretty awesome!

8 years agoHow about some different sole grinds, and maybe the CB version?
Jim V
8 years agoBeautiful. I’ve been in need of new wedges for some time (hint). I wouldn’t mind seeing a sand wedge or two in the future offerings.

8 years agoI would love to see more finish options on wedges. It seems chrome and black are about the only options available.
norman j. dupre
8 years agoGreat looking club, just the way they are. These would look great in my bag…
Charles Parrott
8 years agoForgive my naivete, but would players purchase these numbered sets to play them, or to hang them on the wall? Do folks really purchase clubs like this in hopes that they will become collector’s items years from now? Bottom line: if I win this 1/150 set, put them in my bag, and then pulled one out to play it somewhere, would I get dirty looks from players “in the know”?
To answer the required question: I’m a big oil can finish fan… would love to see these in that!
imaheatfan
8 years agoNot sure how I could contribute to the wedges. KBS shafts would be nice. How about ringed grips that let you know exactly how far down you’re choking. Three rings by the thumb of the trail hand, about a half inch apart.
MikeyLikey
8 years agoI’d love to see some rust action back in their premium offerings. I see fewer and fewer on the market every year. Why is this!?

8 years agoReally great looking wedges. Really raw looking.
Would like to see some alternative paint fills.
Please let me win these sticks.

8 years agoI don’t really know what else can be done to wedges..I wouldn’t mind the replaceable faces that were made by another company years ago.
Sam
8 years agoI’d really like Cleveland to incorporate some technology that gets my shot closer to the pin when I hit the turf about 3″ in front of the ball. I understand there isn’t much they can do when I miss it over the top.
Jay Bruce
8 years agoLove how anybody can come about and own one of these beauties!!!! Awesome Job Cleveland
