First Look – Nippon N.S. Pro MODUS3 Black Edition Iron Shafts

Sure, it’s basically gratuitous eye candy, and there’s nothing wrong with that. We wanted to give you a peek at the soon to be released Nippon N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour Black Edition.

The lightest shaft in Nippon’s N.S. Pro Modus3 lineup, the Black Edition features the same mid-launch, mid-spin profile is the standard MODUS3 105, with the obvious addition of matte black paint over chrome.

Other MODUS3 Black Edition models may be released. Nippon would like to know which other models you’d like to see. Put me down for the 120s.

Retail availability begins May 10th. Check with your dealer for full details.

Forgive me Rex, as I’m kind of a novice newbie when it comes to golf equipment post 1998, when I took a 20 year hiatus from the game to attend the Betty Ford Clinic half a dozen times. It finally took and I’m back to the game I love. Anyhoo would you Be a Peach Rex and Please explain to me how I go about putting a logo on my swing? And is it possible for me to do both? Buy these shafts and get a logo for/on my swing? I need all the help I can get. I had my putter and driver blessed by Arch Bishop Pachinko, but it didn’t take. Maybe this swing logo will help? Toodles!

Matte black is pretty sweet. But I’d only like them if my iron heads were black as well. Murdered out look is amazing but a black shaft/chrome head doesn’t do it for me.

I recently got fitted/bought a new set of irons and am playing the Modus 120s. Only critique of the shaft is the large red graphics. I had my shafts spined/FLO’ed so on some of the shafts the graphics are on the front of the shaft or at a slight angle. I can get past that for the potential of a little more consistency in the shaft. But if they had a simple painted shaft band like the NS PRO GH’s, it would look a LOT cleaner.

Tolerances on the Modus shafts are near perfect. Puring is a waste, just install logo up or down.
