Just added to the USGA Conforming Drivers list in time for the Sony Open is the PING G400 MAX Driver.
There’s not much we can say at this time, but in recent PING offerings, MAX has referred to forgiveness and has generally been used on the company’s most forgiving game-improvement offerings. The placement of the large tungsten weight at the extreme rear of the club would certainly suggest that would be the case here as well.
Given that PING’s typical release cycle is +/- 18 months, there’s no reason to think the G400 MAX will replace anything in the current lineup.

But the Golf Ball Can go just so far, no matter how fast your swing speed, smash factor, attack angle, shaft composition, head composition, wind, atmosphere, lie, surface, shoes, ball position, grip, gloves, tee height, ball composition, and Position of Uranus??? Too Many Factors to Consider my Friends. Get Fit with a Certified, Authorized, Seasoned, Experienced Fitter and Let Him Look at all the Factors and Numbers to Get you in the Right Driver, Shaft, and Ball for your Game and Stick with it.
