Yes they did ! Years ago I dealt in golf antiques. I had a lower lofted iron that the face was in two pieces, pinned together. Inside it was filled with a gutta like material, perhaps gutta itself. I sold it quickly to a collector for a tidy sum. Wish I could recall all the details.

Fried Eggs is the best! I’ve been a fan for awhile now. His Dad Scuba Steve is hilarious too.
The refs to speed foam are right on…like steroids for irons. What’s even more funny is I have some of those Taylormade Burner bubble drivers still. ?

I have used XR pro’s for 2 years, great irons when you are on but not if you’re not. The P-790s are excellent irons and live up to the hype, frankly I am shocked at just how good they are. Thought it it was hype as stated, it isn’t. I am a 8 handicap and I believe these irons will help me. Wanted the i500’s but these perform so well and are so forgiving I will have to wait if I decide to toy with something else.
