Vote Now! – Golf Pics of the Week (I’m Not Bitter Edition)

It has finally stopped raining in the northeast. The humidity has finally passed, and we finally have beautiful weather for golf.

Like many of you, on days like today there’s nothing I’d rather be doing then playing golf. Well…maybe the one thing better than actually playing golf would be heading down the road 30 minutes or so to watch Pic of the Week Favorite Blair O’Neal play a little golf at the Symetra Tour Event at Capital Hills at Albany.

Hell…maybe we coulda, shoulda, woulda set something up with Cobra-PUMA golf where we (me) spend a little time getting to know Blair. And then, because that’s what I do, I coulda/woulda written a killer Blair O’Neal story for MyGolfSpy. It would have been awesome…probably the best Blair O’Neal story ever.

But friend’s, that’s not going to happen. Because instead of enjoying the beautiful weather, and watching the beautiful Blair O’Neal play golf, I’m being forced to drive four hours to the anything-but-beautiful borough of Brooklyn, NY for my wife’s grandfather’s 90th birthday. I still don’t understand why I have to go. He’s not my grandfather.

Like it says up there. I’m not bitter.

At least you guys still get to check out some cool golf pics.

      Wow. That Nike actually “won” pic of the week with some knock-offs of US Kids clubs speaks a lot about the current state of the golf equipment biz. Sad.

      As for the pic of Gary Player…There might be 5 other 77+ year olds in this entire country that keep themselves in this kind of shape. I’m sure is wasn’t HIS idea to bare all. It’s just our out of touch media trying to sell more magazines in the check out lane at the grocery store.

      His dedication to staying fit and, in turn, what it represents for our argument that golf is truly a “sport” is inspiring.

      K, I went with Zach & the Best Grips pic. My second choice woulda been the Mizzy shot. But what I wanna know is who in the hell would pick an old naked man?

      Seriously, I don’t care if he’s the best built 75+yo man on planet earth, and he probably is, though to pick him as your pic of the week? And no, I’m not homophobic and have no probs with nudity, and yea, my reaction would be different if it were Natalie, Suzanne or another beautiful female.

      But a nude Gary Player?

      No wonder 98+% of ya can’t break 100, LMAO

      I have no doubt that ya think on the course like ya did in your pic selection, haha

      Enough with the Chick Pix. What does a women’s D-cup breasts have to with a C grind wedge. The first time Your website is supposed to be dedicated to golf. And to Gary Player… “you are old enough to know better.” If he needs the money that bad, join the Champions Tour.
