For 2-years straight, Precision Pro rangefinders have been among the top performers in our annual Most Wanted test, and this year the NX7 Pro took home Editor’s Choice honors for Best Value.
As we explained in a previous story, as a company, Precision Pro is committed to offering quality products, value prices, and a level of customer service you don’t typically get from the big guys. The best part of the Precision Pro story is that they don’t sacrifice features to save you money. The NX7 Pro offers slope technology and pulse vibration – the same features you get from the leading brands for about half the cost. The NX7 Pro is water resistant, shockproof, and accurate to +/- 1-yard.
If that’s not enough, for a limited time, Precision Pro is offering MyGolfSpy readers an extra $30 off. That’s the best price you’ll find anywhere. Free shipping is included, and it comes with Precision Pro’s 90-day money back guarantee.
If you’re in the market for a new rangefinder, this deal is too good to pass up.

7 months agoMany of the “Most Wanted” club tests I take with a grain of salt as the biggest variable is the players. However, I find the MGS non-club equipment tests to be very good value and this one is no exception. After considering purchasing a rangefinder many times, I finally purchased an NX7 Pro.
The NX7 Pro is quick, accurate, easy to use and has quite good optics. The build quality and storage case are very good as well. The slope function appears to be pretty accurate and it takes much of the guesswork out of choosing the right club. The only thing I think the NX7 is missing compared to more expensive models, other than being fully waterproof, is that it can be a little hard to see the measurement readout in the view finder under low light conditions. Of course, that is one reason why the Bushnell and Nikon rangefinders cost a lot more than the NX7. Most golfers, including me, don’t really need those higher end optics 99% of the time.
Definitely worth the money, the NX7 Pro is highly recommended.

7 months ago“We” love this rangefinder. I purchased the unit a few months ago based on the article written by “MYGOLFSPY”. My son’s gps watch was getting old (won’t always charge) and I wanted a laser range finder vs. a new GPS unit. Now our only problem is sharing it. 😉

7 months agoI have a couple of buddies who bought the Bushnell Tour V4 Shift’s and I have a $100 4 or 5 year old Callaway Razr (Nikon). One of the nicest resort courses in our area doesn’t have reflectors on the flags and when their Shifts are on slope they have a terrible time picking up the flag with trees in the background and my Razr is having no trouble at all. When they switch off the slope it picks up much better. Have you noticed that problem with the NX7 when slope is turned on?

7 months agoDavid W. Honestly, I haven’t had any issues getting a reading on the flags with the slope on. I’ve used it a courses with and without the reflectors. The only issue I have seen is slight variations between “shooting” for the flag. (Example: On the tee box of a par 3. Shoot the flag, I get 157.3, shoot it again 158.1, shoot again 157.8) The variation is usually within a yard so I kind of dismiss it as user error. Also, it’s only the slope reading that I get that much of a variation. When I play I always keep the slope on. Now my son who uses it in his Junior PGA events w/ the slope turned off (as per rules) hasn’t mentioned any issues either. He uses both the laser and gps. Laser gives him the flag yardage and the gps gives him front and back of the green yardages.

7 months agoYes… You have to keep proof of purchase and snail mail it in and your check is there in a few weeks.
I’ve had ZERO regrets about the NX7 Pro. small, easy to use, accurate, slope, nice case, quick.

7 months agoI love this. I returned another one from another company around this price it was a bit less so most of you know who it is, this one is a keeper. Not much not to like about it. I play in Florida where we have huge slope of about 6 inches so I cant test that too much but its been really accurate and fast I love it.!!

7 months agoSteve, do the optics fog up with the humidity? I play around the tampa area sometimes the eyepiece on my old rangefinder would fog up.
Not sure where you play but the courses I play have at least 10 inches of slope.
