Five Contestants Wanted: #COBRACONNECT Challenge 4

2020 has been one kidney stone of a year so far, hasn’t it? Maybe #COBRACONNECT Challenge 4 can fix that.

The #COBRACONNECT Challenge is MyGolfSpy’s largest review event of the year. We need five dedicated Forum members to be outfitted with a full set of 2020 Cobra gear, complete with Cobra Connect Arccos sensors. Those testers will then spend the summer duking it out in a series of challenges, with a champion crowned in the fall.

Do we have your attention?

Five Contestants Wanted

Our fourth #COBRACONNECT Challenge promises to be the best one yet. Each tester will be outfitted with Cobra SPEEDZONE drivers, fairways and hybrids. Three testers will receive SPEEDZONE irons and King Black wedges. The other two get King Forged Tec irons and King MIM wedges. You can choose conventional or One Length plus a bag to carry them all.

#COBRACONNECT Challenge 4 is a season-long commitment. You’ll be expected to game the Cobras all year and chart your progress using Cobra Connect. In addition, you’ll compete against the other testers for weekly prizes as well as a season-ending championship.

As per Cobra’s guidelines, the #COBRACONNECT Challenge is open to any golfer in the U.S. or Canada.

How To Apply

The #COBRACONNECT Challenge is a social media thing. You must have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to be eligible. In addition, you’ll need a working knowledge of things like #HASHTAGS.

We say it every time but it bears repeating: this is NOT a giveaway or a freebie. We need avid golfers committed to a season-long competition. You must also commit to regular participation in the MyGolfSpy Community Forum as well as social media.

To apply, you first need to be a full and active member in good standing of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to join if you’re not already a member).

Second, you must apply ONLY in the Official #COBRACONNECT Challenge 4 Contestants Wanted thread in the Community Forum. (Click here to apply)

And finally, be prepared to commit your 2020 golf season to your new Cobra gear, using the Cobra Connect system to help improve your game and sharing your journey with fellow golfers in the MyGolfSpy Community Forum and on social media.

Oh, and competing for cool prizes along the way. Don’t forget that.

Serious Fun

MyGolfSpy takes product testing seriously. We expect you to take it seriously, too. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. Playing golf, interacting on social media and trash-talking on the MyGolfSpy Forum may just be the ticket to keep those COVID-19 blues at bay.

Remember, apply ONLY in the official #COBRACONNECT Challenge 4 Application thread in the MyGolfSpy Forum. We’ll announce our testers in that thread next week.

Good luck!

Just joined so unless being from the Yorktown area helps me, I do not qualify. But I am looking to buy Cobra Driver now. Have an old one (S3?) that is overdue for replacement. I think it is about 10 years old possibly. If you still need someone who currently plays 2-3 times per week and is a 6 handicap I would love to participate.

Recently replace a set Cobra Amp Cells and I question my decision every time I play. I would love to try a new Cobra set

Would love to take part in this but just got fitted for a driver by Club Champion and bought a new set of irons two months ago. Bad timing for me. Look forward to the results.

Good luck everyone! I’m not a regular in these forums so I don’t qualify. Hopefully if I get to freelance with Adam here we can still make that happen, I may be behind the times, but I love my Cobra F6s and F7s. Would’ve been nice if they came with Cobra Connect but I might need to pick them up from Golf Town at some point.

I marshall at a Golf Club and play when I want. I see all brands of clubs played. I would like to try the Cobra’s. I play Callaway’s woods and irons with regular shafts and carry a 8-10 handicap.

I’d love to test these clubs for the summer. I have a 10 hdcp and am almost 80 yrs old. Would like graphite shafts somewhere between Reg. and Senior flex.

I would love to test these clubs for the summer. I own two TrackMan systems and play regular.

I also have access to a showroom / practice bay that can be utilized for others to do testing.

Would love to take part in all sorts of golftests. I’m an ok golfer, can write reasonably well, do professional testing at the university of Wageningen, play a lot of rounds all year long. There is only one problem, all the testing is for US or Canadian inhabitants. No Europeans wanted even though we firmly hold the Ryder cup since a long time
