The “premiere collection” of the Slotline series, the SL-700 putters are CNC-milled from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, and all use tungsten to reposition weight and target higher MOI. Tri-milled faces were designed to reduce the surface area that contacts the ball, and are engineered to produce a solid, crisp feel at impact.

i sold the slotline putters for the military pro shops back in the day . single digit handicap players noticed the biggest advantage by using this putter over their previous in use putter. i have one that i bring out anytime i find my average of over 30 putts per round. teaching the game i found putting and the putter are a work of art as we all know . trust is key and to see a change in putts per round with the mental attitude is like taking a step back and using a bullseye or blade style with shear success. the individual does have total control

Just one last comment… the 783 needs a horizontal sight line that is parallel to the face, just like the 584 and 384.

Not really sure why, but the 782 doesn’t seem to need it.

Looking back at the MGS article 13 Amazing Putter Finishes I really like Gunmetal, Nickel, and Purple Haze but I think any lighter finish including a stainless steel putter would look great with the gold graphics

These companies need to send you some putters for us to test out for them and give our opinion. You know the Pay-It-Forward that other companies have used on other golf sites. The first place I heard about them was on Mygolfspy so I think this should be the first place on the web to be their like official launch pad. What do you think Golfspy? We would love to test out one of their putters and we would just ship it to the next guy in line.

I had heard previously that Slotline would be coming back and I had saw a picture of one of the models. I wish them luck, but I really see the putter market as over saturated at the moment. I think more and more people are starting to go the custom route with their putters. I understand that not everyone is doing custom, but there are a lot mroe people with custom model putters than there were a few years ago. Like I said, I wish Slotline luck along with Never Compromise and the others trying to make a comeback, but it could be a rough competition with everyone.

I wish them luck too CJ, but like you say I think it will tough. Although I do feel that they had a great product and you never know with some money they could be big again in no time.

Glad to hear that a belly putter is in the works! I am trying to put together an all black/gunmetal set of clubs and this would be an excellent addition (assuming it rolls better than my 2 ball mid). Slotline, I’d be glad to test a belly! Will even pay for it! (hope you cut me a deal though)

Wow, I really like the style of these putters. I wish they had a belly putter though. 384 or 783 in a belly putter format would be awesome!

A center shafted mallet and Belly and Long putters are in the works. They are currently in the proto stage and are being tested on the Champions Tour for feedback and tweaks.

Well all I can say is I really like most of the putters the lion emblem is unique and the designs look pretty good. I dont get how these putters are different as far as technology from all the other putters out there. The only suggestion I can think of is some different finishes for people who want to be able to find their putter at night.

If I remember correctly, Slotline putters of the 80’s jumped on the High MOI principle as a marketing point. Glad to see they are back, and it appears their designs, materials, milling, finishes, and attention to detail have been stepped up. Back in the day, the Tungsten Raider model was one cool putter. I think most of these new models are on the right track for the price. I like the Lowenbrau Lion :)

I am delighted to see these putters back – I always wondered where they went. I once played with a model they made which was onset which you don’t see much anymore. Unfortunately, I broke it and that was the end. Might get one back in my hands….

I remember the ads in the golf mags for Slotline back in the day. They would have pics of every popular putter with a stat under each like “2.7 times better than this putter”. I would also see my Ping Anser and wonder how much better I would be with an Inertial. Never did get one. Maybe it is not too late.

I like the Lowenbrau lion on the putter (may make me think of beverages more than my putting – but the two can go together well sometimes), but I’m not extatic about anything else about them. I don’t believe I have ever seen or placed one in my hands – but I just don’t see any differences or something that makes this stand out to me over others we’ve seen here before. IMO of course.

LOL…true. It does look like the beer logo a little…actually a lot. The difference is not that big anymore but it was back then. They have a great name and are just getting started…they have much more planned. Be on the look out…we will have more on the new putters soon.
