Testers Wanted (6) BirdieBall PuttUP Putting Mats

The biggest knock on artificial putting greens is that they don’t roll like real putting greens.

BirdieBall believes it’s cracked the code. Using a proprietary foam material, it claimed status as MyGolfSpy’s  “Best Putting Mat 2020.”

Given the state of the world and trending consumer behavior, putting mats might become more popular than the 1990s “8-minute Abs” video.

Testers Wanted

We’re looking for six golfers who are motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a thorough review of the BirdieBall PuttUp putting mat and sharing your thoughts and grades with the MyGolfSpy forum community.

Testing is open to golfers in the US.

Think you’re a good fit?

I really want to test the birdie mat but I’ll test a putter. I putt about an hour a day if I don’t get to course. I work part time as the marketing guys for a big Golf Academy in North Florida.

I looked at several putting surfaces and they are not that good, or they are overly priced. Birdie Ball seems to get it right.. I would be happy to demo one of these and then donate it to the local school golf team.

I can finally get tee to green with birdie putts on most holes and can’t make a putt to save my life. I’m a 16 because I can’t even get pars! I’ve gone the quick fix route and bought new putters. I’ve put work into my game in every area except putting. I NEED THIS MAT!! I am locked on my putter and now I just need the reps!

Literally was just thinking about getting one for this coming “winter.” Would love to test it, just concerned that if it was too good, I wouldn’t get anything else done. :)

I am an 8 handicap and I currently own 4 putting mats (3 were gifts). So far I have not found one that I like. I’d love to test this mat against the others and see how it compares

Putting is my game. I’ve been using Eric Kaplan’s putting method over the last month with much better consistency. Would love to try out the Birdie ball puttup to keep my stroke consistent over the winter

Have the putt out and it’s nice but it doesn’t challenge like it used to. Have dedicated a room to chipping and putting but need more challenge so it you haven’t picked would love to be included. At present I am a 12 handicap and I’ve dropped 1 in the last month because of my home practice.

I have a several putting mats at home. One was purchased at a Golf Galaxy and the other one was purchased in Japan. Since I live near Detroit, Michigan, I reply heavily on a practice putting mat for at least 6 months out of the year. I use my putting mat at home in the summer time at night. I am always interested in a new golf equipment for an improvement.

Have you tested this with a stimpmeter? Is there any break in the putts?
Is there someway to have down hill putts? I have a lot of questions on design.
Just doing the same putt over and over would get boring very quickly. It looks like you need to make more adjustability to this putting mat.

Been thinking about getting a mat for winter practice. I’m a 3 handicap with good putting skills & want to get better. I have a cut stroke like Billy Mayfair.

We would love to try one of these mats out in our store. We are a trackman facility with 5 bays and an open area that would be perfect for our customers to try it out.

As 9.2 handicap index with too many 3 putts, I offer my new finished basement as a putting spot. When not golfing you’ll find me working in statistical analysis. Details are my friend and forte. Glad to help out.

I like working on my putting, and the time I’ve spent practicing and learning has paid off in better putting this season. I have a 10 ft WellingPutt practice mat that I’ve used indoors for the past year, and I’d like to try this new one.

I would love to try this new putting green, particularly as a tester. I have recently become much more interested in improving my putting. I’ve only played for 37 years and am finally willing to put as much time and energy into that as I have on the rest of the game. I have a Sklz putting green, only about 15” wide but helpful. I live very close to my home course and practice there also.

I would love to try the putting green as I am working with my 12 yr old granddaughter to get her ready for Jr High Golf team tryouts and I believe this would help her confidence enough to make the team. Plus it would help my game too. I am a 14 hdcp.

I would love to test your putting green as during the winter it is hard to get to a good green to practice on. I am a 7.6 hdcp, golfed for over 50 years and think that I can make up bad drives with my short game and putting. Annika thought I was good enough to try for the Champions tour about 10 years ago.

Would welcome the opportunity to test this product. 60 years old with 50 plus years of playing the game. Currently a 3.2 and playing about once a week. Have a basement that allows me to set this up and leave it up or move it as needed. Having grown up in the golf business, my dad was a class a pro for fifty plus years, but not in the business, I have a lot of golf knowledge but come at it from the amateur point of view. Thanks for the consideration.

I would love to try out this indoor putting practice green because the current one I’m using is just a 9 foot strip of turf with a hole on the end. My putting definitely needs work and I think this product would really help.

Would love to test this, I putt inside often as I don’t have a ton of time to play.
Last hdcp was 1.8, 45yrs experience, I don’t switch putters too often and currently use a piece of felt ball return from Skilz which has been decent. I have a good space to test on as well.

I’ll save you the testers. I bought one, received it this week, absolutely love it. The roll is pure, quality too notch, rolls into a reasonable size for storage purposes. Any time you can practice larger things while dealing with a smaller size, I feel like you are cheating life. Cannot say enough about birdieball (I have many of their products).
