Ever wanted to contribute to the data MyGolfSpy collects over the course of the season?
Welcome to Testers Wanted where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!
Earlier this year, Shot Scope released a suite of stat-tracking accoutrements aimed at the golfer who wants all of the data but would rather not wear a watch. Generally, it’s the same player who prefers to reserve precious pocket space for tees, ball markers and divot tools rather than a cell phone.
With that, we need testers like you to assess and report back to us at MyGolfSpy.
TESTERS WANTED
We’re looking for four testers to try the new Shot Scope PRO LX+ and give us your honest feedback.
Head to the Shot Scope PRO LX+ testing thread in the MyGolfSpy forum to apply.

2 weeks agoI picked up golf a few years ago and have never had the advantage of using any kind of distance/range finding tool, I always use the course markers or even sometimes I just guess. As a bow hunter I’m pretty adept at estimating distances 100 yards and in, where it counts. That being said I wouldn’t mind trying these tools. I just can’t justify the expense.

2 weeks agoIn this day and age, with GPS, apps and the like, WHY do we bother with these? Used an app for GPS for a couple of years, after using just the available markers on the course. Have purchased a GPS watch, and it works great. Get it started on the 1st tee, and never have to touch it till I’m done. It knows what hole I’m on, and gives me front, middle, and back distances at a glance. Don’t have to pull out my phone, or a rangefinder from my bag. Look at my wrist, get the distance, let’s play!

2 weeks agoWould love to try out a rangefinder. Have always used GPS based distance tools (skycaddie, arccos, etc.). Would be interesting to compare one to the other and see which is more accurate or if there isn’t much of a difference at all.
