He’s won a major and a couple of events. So did Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner, and Todd Hamilton. Granted, this is a different circumstances but let’s see his performance over the next few years before we anoint him the next golf god.
I’m not sure how you reign in distance now that the genie is out of the bottle. Thanks USGA, the “stewards” of golf, who have been asleep on this over the past two decades. But Bryson won the US Open at -6, is that a crime? Granted, the USGA tricks up everything to “protect par”, but it’s not as if he shot 20 under.. And it was virtually no one else on the part either. I think that’s a pretty good result.
