Wilson D7 Forged Irons – Testers Wanted

Wilson D7 Forged Irons – Testers Wanted

Some will say you can’t effectively combine the performance of a distance golf club with the sex appeal of a forged player’s club. Wilson Golf and its D7 Forged irons say otherwise.

The Wilson D7 Forged iron was introduced this year and recently took top honors as the Most Wanted Players Distance iron of 2020.

How good is it? What makes it better than the 12 other irons it went up against?

We are looking for five of you to tell the MyGolfSpy community.

Wilson D7 Forged

Wilson D7 Forged – Testers Wanted

We’re looking for five golfers who are motivated, detail-oriented and committed to providing a thorough review of the D7 Forged irons. You’ll be expected to share your thoughts and grades on the irons with the forum community.

Testing is open to golfers in the U.S. only.

Want to find out if this category iron can help you gain some yards and retain that sweet forged feeling?

Too bad there’s no lefty love…. I had to switch from the right side to the left due to back issues last year. I am finally hitting the ball well and scoring the same as I I did with a bad back. Please show us lefty’s some love………….

Wish I could be a tester but bought these as soon as they came out. Been playing 50 years and have exchanged irons multiple times each year. Won’t be doing that with the D 7 forged irons. The most perfect set of irons I have ever had. Super feel, forgiveness and. distance. These will be in my bag foe quite some time. This coming from a guy that changed 7 times in one year.

I’m currently a 65 year old 10.3 looking to drop back to a 7. in the next 3-5 months after suffering a one year long wrist injury. I love the way they look and I gamed the D7 rocket launchers last year for a couple of months. They were incredibly long but not great for consistent yardages. Let me give ’em a go, they could be just the ticket! Sincerely, Big Tim

I’ve been a club builder for 20 years. I’d like to see how these stack up against the clubs I have built. Mine are forged clubs very similar to 790’s. Recently switched from blades.

These are interesting – I just returned to my AP2’s from PXG 0311P’s which I found to be too bulky; particularly in the depth of the sole I’m hoping these are closer to the AP2’s in feel and size, but perhaps just a tiny bit more forgiving. Would like to see these head to head with he upcoming Mizuno JPX921 forged and the Mizuno MMC-20s (my current short list).

My first set of clubs had a bamboo finish LOL, 40 years later the ones I play now are used. I work on my game 3 to 4 days a week and have made so many friends playing. I will never give up even though some days Id like to toss my clubs in the drink! I just approach the next round like it will be my best round ever!

Currently play Wilson V-6 forged. Love them and representing the Wilson brand. I’m a 6.7 Index, play 2 times a week minimum. Comfortable sharing my thoughts and enjoy talking about golf gear. I know what people want to know when reading reviews and would cover all aspects from aesthetics (look, feel, sound), to turf interaction, feel, accuracy and distance. Let me know if you’d like me to play and review these clubs.

My Dad always played Wilson Staff daily 9 holes after work and nine holes after dinner and was a 4 handicap. with 5 holes in one. I am a retired Navy CAPT being held prisoner by the Corona virus. I have a 15 handicap .presently. I have played golf from the Philippines and across America to Italy. In a futile attempt to “buy a better handicap”” I have played Nike, TaylorMade, Ping, Cobra, Callaway, and Giga golf clubs with most fitted clubs and some not and could give an experienced comparative perspective to your test..
I have been drafted previously and am ready for yours..
