2008 TaylorMade Burner Rescue & TaylorMade Burner Tour Rescue
The all “NEW” 2008 TaylorMade Burner Rescue and TaylorMade Burner Tour Rescue woods will be coming to a store near you around the end of June 2008. Not a big surprise seeing that they pretty much started the market with the original Rescue club. So it was just a matter of time before they matched their newest wood with a hybrid.
Their will be two versions:
Standard Model – High-Launch
Tour Model – Tour Launch
Who And What They Are Designed For
The standard model is designed for the golfer who is looking to get the ball off the deck and into a high, long-carrying flight with an average swing speed, while the Tour Model is designed for the player who wants to promote a lower, more penetrating flight. But they do differ in other areas; the Tour Launch model’s CG is more forward than that of the High Launch, which gives the Tour spec version more workability that all better players will benefit from. Like the new drivers the hybrids benefit from Dual Crown Technology and a deep center of gravity (of course). Both models have the largest size and footprint of any TaylorMade rescue club, actually almost like a fairway wood.
