Same exact thing happened with my watch(es). In one case, an entire chunk of the back fell out. On the good side, Bushnell has replaced the watch both times with no questions asked which suggests they may be seeing a fair amount of warranty returns with this problem. I hope the latest one has a some sort of fix.

Bought a Bushnell ion elite based on reviews. During my 4th round it became fuzzy and then died. When I inspected it I found a crack in the back case running from the charging port to the edge. It was replaced under warranty. The new one managed 5 rounds before dying also with a cracked case in exactly the same place. Design fault???

I REALLY like this watch. So much so, that I’m on my third (covered under warranty replacement) one. Both developed display issues after a few rounds… no external damage noticed on the case, nor a cracked screen or obvious impact that would have caused the malfunction. The first one had a bunch of vertical lines running through the screen. The second one survived only a couple rounds before the screen went blank entirely, leaving only the backlighting showing. It’s a shame. Tough to beat the features for the price, but I can’t tolerate an unreliable device. If this third one fails, I’ll be requesting a refund, not a replacement.
