The new phone bookโs here! The new phone bookโs here!
-Navin Johnson
Nothing starts an article about putters better than a movie quote from 1979. Iโm willing to bet that some of you were not even playing golf, or alive, in 1979. If you are unfamiliar with the Steve Martin movie The Jerk, you really should go and watch it, or at least watch this YouTube clip so you can relate to what I am feeling about these new Bettinardi putters.
In that scene, Navin experiences what I would define as pure joy when he sees that he is finally listed in the phone book. Yes young folk, phone numbers used to be listed in books.
This is the time of the year when I typically tap into near-Navin levels of excitement when the boxes of new putters arrive on my doorstep.
Though Iโll deny it, my wife would likely tell you โThe new putters are here! The new putters are here!โ has come out of my mouth more than once.
The New Bettinardis Are Here
Our first look at 2018โs putters comes in the form of the new 2018 Bettinardi Golf BB and iNOVAi lines. Keeping true to their word, Bettinardi is following a two-year release cycle for their putter lines, alternating years between the BB/iNOVAi and Studio Stock/Queen B lines. You can expect the BBs in the even-numbered years, and the SSs in the odd for the foreseeable future.
Letโs take a look at what the new lines are all about.

Aesthetics
Perhaps the looks of a putter are not the first thing that one should be concerned with when shopping for a new stick, but Iโm willing to admit looks are probably the first aspect of a putter that I check out.
If I were to describe the looks of the 2018 BB line in one word it would be bolassic. Linguists reading this know that bolassic is the accepted conjugation of bold and classic. College students, feel free to include bolassic in your next paper. Itโs an English professor favorite.
Though these BBs lack the lime green and stepless silver shafts of their 2016 ancestors, the black finish – coupled with the yellow paint and grip – still makes a bold statement. Itโs not just Wiz Khalifa who knows that black and yellow always pop together.
At the same time though, the new color scheme, when combined with the more traditional shaft, results in a putter that I feel looks like a classic Bettinardi design. The 2018 aesthetics donโt scream look at me like they did in 2016. Instead, I bet this time around it will be golfers saying look at that.
Face and Fit
The 2018 BB putters all feature Bettinardiโs Super-Fly face milling. This too is new for 2018 as the previous BB models all had Micro Honeycomb milling. According to the Bettinardi literature, the Super-Fly face milling will produce a softer feel than the Micro Honeycomb. Itโs not as soft as the F.I.T face, but Iโll attest that when you couple Super-Fly milling with carbon steel construction, you get a very soft feel at impact.
I could really feel the difference face milling makes when comparing feel between the Super-Fly BB56 and the F.I.T. faced iNOVAi 5.0. Though both heads are made of aluminum, the impact feels are markedly different, although one should likely include geometric construction differences in the feel conversation as well.
As for fit, Bettinardiโs BB putters should match up with straight (BB39 & BB56) and slight-to-strong (BB1 & BB29) swing paths. Itโs worth noting that the two mallets are not actually face-balanced, featuring just a touch of toe hang. If you are looking for a putter with 1/4 toe hang, youโll need to check out the Studio Stock or Queen B lines. However, when you do look at the Bettinardi catalog as a whole, youโll see a pretty comprehensive fitting scheme, with multiple models fitting multiple swing paths.
Next, letโs take a closer look at the 2018 Models
BB1
The BB1, our classic blade-style putter, has received unique cosmetic and performance upgrades for 2018 which includes a neck that has been moved slightly forward towards the sweet spot which promotes less toe hang. The traditional Honeycomb face has been replaced in favor of our aggressive Flymill milling technique, which produces a softer feel at impact. ย A new Stealth Black finish is complimented with an electric yellow paint scheme, reducing glare and improving aim optics. ย Available in both right and left-hand models, the BB1 comes with a Flymill pattern headcover and a matching deep-etch cord Lamkin grip available in standard or jumbo sizes.
What can you say about the BB1 except that it is the workhorse of the BB line. Though Iโve no data to back my claim, I bet that Bettinardi sells more BB1s than any other head style. Add in that you lefty golfers can game the BB1 as well, and you have the potential for even more BB1s finding bags.
Why are so many BB1s finding bags? I think that the BB1 is where the “classic” descriptor fits best. The heel-toe weighted blade has been a classic design back to its inception in Karsten Solheimโs workshop. Every putter maker out there has a version of this design, some that lean more modern, and others that reflect the designโs classic nature. Even with the bold yellow color and Super-Fly milling, I still feel that this incarnation of the BB1 fits in better as a classic. Golfers are comfortable with the heel-toe design, and the BB1 is a solid version of that design, and so off to the bags they go.
BB29
New to the 2018 BB Series, this traditional heel-toe weighted blade features a squared frame, crowned topline and a mid-slant neck – all attributes designed to promote ideal hand positioning and locked in feeling at address. Milled from Soft Carbon steel, the aggressive Super-Fly face milling produces a softer feel than the previous Honeycomb pattern. This pleasing design utilizes an electric yellow paint scheme set against our new Stealth Black finish. ย The putter comes with a Flymill pattern headcover and a matching deep-etch cord Lamkin grip available in standard or jumbo sizes.
Grab your picks and torches Minecraft players, Bettinardi has a new putter for you. Now Iโm not saying that the BB29 is blocky, but damn, the BB29 is blocky! Youโll not find sweeping bumpers on this one. The bumpers on this one are big and 80โs fashion shoulder pads square. Blocky may be just what your eye is looking for though.
Take a look at the address photo for the BB29. Itโs all business. Every angle sets you up square to the target. Bumpers line up square. The face lines up square. The cavity and the edges of the putter line up square as well. Iโve owned more than one putter whereย the geometry at address confuses my eye. The BB29 is not one of them. When you drop it behind the ball, you know exactly where the ball is headed. Remember, if itโs too blocky for your eye, thereโs the BB1 for ya.
BB39
The BB39 mallet, with its elongated flange and rounded edges, is the most visually striking putter in the new BB Series lineup. An extended flange increases the perimeter weight distribution for a consistently solid strike, while the elongated sightline simultaneously creates visual confidence at address. The craftsmanship that goes into making every Bettinardi unique is on full display with this new design. The BB39 comes with a Flymill pattern mallet headcover along with a matching deep-etch cord Lamkin grip available in standard or jumbo sizes.
The BB39 fills the rounded mallet spot this time around, replacing the now relegated BB40. The BB39 really only resembles the outgoing BB40 in the fact that itโs a round mallet. Though the BB56 probably wants to have a talk about the most visually striking quote, the BB39 is a beast sporting a larger footprint and more face-to-tail stoutness than the BB40.
I thought I recognized the BB39 when I first saw it, but couldnโt quite place my recognition. Specifically, the BB39โs bumpers looked really familiar.
A bit later, I realized that they look a whole lot like the bumpers on the Signature 6 from 2013. No, I donโt remember what the bumpers looked like on all putters from five years ago, but the Sig 6 sticks in my memory as it was the very first winner of a Most Wanted putter competition. Obviously, we are not going to crown the BB39 Most Wanted because it looks like a past winner, but Iโll definitely be performance curious if Bettinardi enters this one in the 2018 competition.
BB56
By utilizing features from both the Antidote and iNOVAi, the BB56 is the most intricate and advanced putter in the BB Series lineup.ย The body is milled from 6061 military grade aluminum and features a special topline weight made of 303 Stainless Steel.ย By relocating the stainless steel weight directly behind and above the equator of the ball at address, combined with a high MOI head shape, the Center of Gravity is raised resulting in consistently solid contact and proper roll, even on miss hits. Vented channel grooves on the sole and flange create an aerodynamic appearance at address, further improving aim characteristics.ย Available in both right hand and left-hand models, the BB56 comes with a Flymill pattern MOI headcover and a matching deep-etch cord Lamkin grip available in either standard or jumbo sizes.
Bettinardi has made some ugly โBB50โsโ mallets. BBs numbered in the 50s are typically big mallets, often made of aluminum, featuring stainless steel somewhere for weight. I can only speak for my tastes, but the marriage of stainless and aluminum usually looks forced. It may be effective for controlling MOI and balance, but a big lump of stainless on the back edge just proved distracting for me.
Not so with the BB56. This time, the marriage of stainless and aluminum is visually pleasing and balanced. The stainless still draws in your eye, but rather than being a distraction, the placement of the stainless bar down the spine of the putter now draws the eye to the target line.
What you may not realize about the BB56 is that the top-of-the-putter placement of the heavier stainless steel also promotes better ball roll. This elevated weighting scheme is similar to what Bettinardi incorporated into their Antidote line. Those of you who were not fans of the none-more-square looks of the Antidote mallet should be more pleased with the aesthetics of the BB56. This one too will hopefully make its way into Most Wanted testing. If performance data can be coupled with improved looks, the BB56 may dispel some of my haunting BB50s memories.
Bettinardi iNOVAi 5.0
Thanks to the success of its predecessors, the iNOVAi 5.0 looks to remain at the capstone example of Bettinardi craftsmanship and ingenuity. Classic features that remain from previous iterations are the bi-metal construction, black anodized finish, and F.I.T. (Feel-Impact-Technology) Face. The most noticeable new design characteristic is the hand polished 303 stainless steel weight which now creates a rounded mallet appearance, only adding to the steady strike attributes while increasing MOI numbers that this family of putters is known for. The iNOVAi is available in both heel shafted, and center-shafted options and all iNOVAi models come with a special MOI headcover and matching deep-etch Lamkin grip in standard or jumbo sizes.
To my eye, the first Bettinardi iNOVAi was not the greatest looking putter. I liked that you could turn it sideways and see a face, but the big โmouthโ of stainless always looked strange, much like the older BB50s I suppose. The iNOVAi 3.0 looked way better but was not my friend when it came to actual hole hitting. I needed looks and performance.
After a few weeks of testing, the new iNOVAi 5.0 is proving to be pure Goldilocks. Yep, itโs just right.
The iNOVAi 5.0 sets up nicely at address, with the top line and cavity lines facilitating easy targeting. Those of you rolling Odyssey #7 putters should feel immediately comfortable with the iNOVAi 5.0โs alignment scheme, even though it is decidedly un-fanglike.
Bettinardi iNOVAi 5.0 Center Shaft
What has kept the iNOVAi 5.0 in my bag though is the wonderfully balanced feel during the stroke. I trust this putterย to not go AWOL on its way back to the ball. I mentioned above that the FIT face feels softer than the Super Fly milled face, and for me, this translates to better distance control. Those of you who have followed my putting foibles through my years here at MGS know that distance control (aka eighteen inches short) is my primary putting issue. The more I use the iNOVAi 5.0, the better my touch is developing. Soon Iโll only be missing short by nine inches!
My tester has the large version of the Lamkin deep etched grip, and I found it an easy and comfortable transition from my SuperStroke 2.0. The non-cord version of the grip on the iNOVAi is much softer than the cord version found on the BB series. Both versions are comfortable, but I prefer the softer version.
And no, youโll likely not be able to scoop the ball off the green with the iNOVAi 5.0. The stainless flange is just too tall. However, the ball will stay in the putterโs hole if you lower the iNOVAi on to it, allowing for easy pickup. No scooping, but no bending either.
More Than Wall Hangers?
A few weeks back, MGS owner (and my boss) Adam posted a video about no-tech putters not helping golfers make more putts. With this in mind I asked Sam Bettinardi the following question:
What technology is present in the Bettinardi putters that will actually help golfers make more putts?
We are similar to smaller companies out there in the fact that we don’t pay big contracts to have players using our product, they use it #1 because of look, #2 feel, and #3 service and trusting in our process (making everything in-house, on our own machines).
As far as new technology in the production line our BB56 offers a COG story that no one is talking about in putting. We raised the center of gravity on this putter by placing the Stainless steel weight above the equator of the golf ball, and increased the size of the putter head for higher MOI numbers.
The iNOVAi 5.0 has higher MOI numbers than the 3.0 because of the connected Stainless steel rear piece which moves more weight to the back of the putter, promoting a more smooth and stable stroke, less resistant to twisting or turning.
-Sam Bettinardi
As I mentioned above, I was impressed enough with the iNOVAi 5.0 to put it in my bag almost immediately. Having rolled the other two versions of the iNOVAi, I can tell that this one does swing differently.
As for the BB56, Bettinardi may be on to something there as well. This may be the Antidote weighting technology that golfers are able to swallow visually. Itโs easy to align, and the roll on the ball is vigorous. Hopefully, both of these putters will be in the 2018 Most Wanted mallet competition. I canโt wait to see how they perform.
But Wait, Thereโs More
So there you have all of the info, and then some, about the new for 2018 Bettinardi BB and iNOVAi putters lines. You have the classic Bettinardi designs, like the BB1, and the fresh off the design table models like the iNOVAi 5.0 and the BB56.
Speaking of the BB56, Bettinardi is so excited about this putter that they want one of you to have one. Thatโs right; we have one to give away. Just leave a comment below telling us about your current gamer and which of the new Bettinardi models is your favorite, and youโll be entered to win.
Random winner. Only one entry per person. You know the drill.

5 years agoIts one thing to claim highMOI, but show me the numbers, i suspect bettinardi doesn’t publish these because they aren’t as high as some other brands. A Mallet that size should demand an MOI above 8500-9500g/cm2, i doubt that it gets there. but if you buy just on looks these are pretty sexy.

5 years agoCurrent gamer is a Bettinardi QB #7, love the new BB’s. Innovai’s are growing on me…slowly. I know they are more function over form, but I’ll always prefer looking down at a classic design. That being said, my favourite new Betti is the BB29, a nice update and I know it won’t be a hit either everyone, but that boxiness (prefer boxy over blocky as an adjective) helps it set up so square. Great alignment design!

5 years agoDear MyGolfSpy,
I have to say I am interested in the iNOVAi 5.0 at first blush. But to be honest the color scheme for aiming are all the wrong colors for success. For example White aim line in the center and 2 black lines down below to assist with alignment is so old school and not very effective.
If Bettinardi want to sell more putters either make the aim/alignment points in NEON RED or NEON Orange. Then we are taking about a game changer at least for aiming with!

For some reason it rusts or tarnishes, which doesnโt me too much, I have my own age spots. Based on Mr. Wolfeโs comments I think I would make more with the Inovai 5.0.
Joel
5 years agoJust spray it with WD40 and wipe it over with some kitchen roll every 4 or 5 rounds and you wonโt get any rust. To remove the current rust just use some wire wool and then do the WD40 treatment.

5 years agoThe BB56 looks awesome. I agree with the article that their attempts at mallets have been less than desirable. I have a Model 1 Kutcher I absolutely love, but the black has me drawn in. I went to black wedges and there is something sexy that inspires confidence in it. Call me crazy. I am very interesting and seeing how the mallets roll and feel as my current putter is amazing. But always looking to get better.

5 years agoBurf,
Before you pitch the Scotty, go to their custom shop, you might find what is missing is that you need a new color scheme from what the putters came with from the factory new. I did and it made a HUGE difference. Hope the info helps!

5 years agoMan, that in one sweet looking putter.Currently using a Yes!Callie putter with a SuperStroke 3.0 Slim.
Found out from a putter fitting that the putter does not match my stroke thus the 4 gram peel and stick rubber squares to get it more to a slight toe hang, and add weight to give the putter the ‘oomph’ it requires.
This would be an awesome putter to own. Fingers crossed! Thanks to all making it available.

5 years agoI currently game a Scotty Cameron studio select Newport 2. Actually, I haven’t used anything other than a Scotty in about 10 years. I typically prefer blades to mallets, although I do have a Scotty Cameron mallet that I use when I feel my alignment is struggling. My favorite bettinardi would be the bb29. I like how everything sets up square, which can be difficult to find in a blade. I’ve always wanted to try a bettinardi, and would love to add the bb56 to my collection!

5 years agoMine is a 34″ Odyssey White Ice Sabertooth that I took 2 months to choose. I compared about a dozen various putters over that time and kept coming back to this one and a Bettinardi mallet. Since the mass market Odyssey was quite a bit less expensive at the time, I chose it but always wondered how much more consistent I would be with the Bettinardi.

5 years agoCurrent gamer is an Odyssey Tank Cruiser V-Line. I like the counterbalanced features in it and that I can get the weight of the putter head really heavy. But that alignment line on the BB56 screams my name, I’ve always had issues with aligning my putter correctly and this putter would probably fix that. Plus add in a nicer looking version of the Antidote technology and I’m really intrigued by the BB56.

I like Bettinardi BB29 & BB1 that I have been using an Ping Answer-Style putter for over 10 years and am not comfortable with mallet putters because of its size, visual effect, and speed/distance control. I like Answer style putters because of more control I have and feel = feedback I get from them.

5 years agoHi guys. Another awesome giveaway, love you guys MGS!
Current putter is a Seemore SI2. Bought it last year to help me keeping things aligned properly using the riflescope technology. Have been actively looking for a new putter as I don’t get the face forgiveness I want from the Seemore. Would also like something a little more soft- feeling as well.
The BB56 is the most intriguing putter in this new lineup for me. A soft feel, high MOI and proven face technology puts Bettinardi at the front of the class again. I am glad these putters show up at Golftown so I can take one for a spin at some point.
Thanks for the excellent opportunity MGS!

5 years agoFor over 10 years my bag has had the Rife 2-Bar Hybrid putter in it. I have tried several others including the 2-Ball putter and L2 putter. I have gone right back to the Rife with a Super Stroke Jumbo 5.0 grip. The BB56 is of interest to me. I do not like the look and feel of blade putters. They have never caught my fancy. Give me a mallet with aiming lines. My average putts per 18 holes is between 1.6 and 1.7 per hole.

5 years agoCurrently using odyssey works big T blade. While I can’t find sny makor problems with it at times it could be a bit unstable. BETTINARDI INOVAI 5.0 CENTER SHAFT seems to me that it would not have that issue and I would love to have it in my bag. But I must say add that the BETTINARDI BB1 looks appealing and promising.

5 years agoCurrently gaming a Rife Tour Blade 460 (put back in the bag when my Ping Specify got chipped) and it has been doing well.
I am the proud owner of a 2002 BB1 short slant, with sound slot and gold plated insert. After it got a few minor chatter dings, I took it out of play to save as a collector’s item, but still in great shape.
Would love to have a new BB1 as a gamer (34″ RH, Jumbo grip, please), but also a bit intrigued with the new BB29 (saw the nickel proto version in the newsletter): I will seek one out when available in a store near me to try it on for size.

5 years agoI’m currently using the first generation Inovai and do like it. Even if MGS showed that it increased the number of putts. I like the look of both blades, BB29 is tops for me. But wouldn’t turn down the chance to give the BB56 a spot in my bag.

5 years agoSure it’s beautiful, new , sexie and a “must have in your bag”. But let’s get real here, unless you are scratch or less than a 5 index, it’s just another very expensive chunk of metal in a stick. $29.95 value at Walmart. Take your existing putter if it feels good to you and some balls to a putting green and practice it won’t cost you $300, plus tax and shipping.

5 years agoNot sure why all the fuss about an over-priced putter. This brand has consistently finished towards the bottom of MGS tests. I had one years ago that I bought because I wanted to have something that was from a descendant of my ancestors homeland. It looked great (like a lot of Italian cars) but was mediocre in performance(like SOME Italian cars). Sold it quickly to someone who was about flash and status over substance.

5 years agoI currently play with the Cleveland Southside and I love the look of the BETTINARDI INOVAI 5.0 CENTER SHAFT, and it would look great in my bag!
Jake H.
5 years agoCurrently I use a SC NP 34 inch 360g.
If I change I will change to something with Tech in it. I will say though the new look of the Bettinardi blade butters has me enticed.

5 years agoMy current gamer is an odyssey versa #6 BWB. The bettinardi I like the most is the BB39, it passes the look test and from the way you describe it, it would be perfect for my game. Thanks for giving one of these putters away.
Blake
5 years agoOdyssey 2-Ball and Ping Ketch in the bag. My favorite new models from the pics are the BB56 and the Inovai 5.0.
Ron
5 years agoJust picked up a center shafted Inovai 3.0 and loving the look and feel of it. I am starting to realize however that I might do better with a longer sight/aiming line. Love the brand, great looking new lineup!
Rick
5 years agoCurrently MLA ProXdream. The INOVIO 5.9 has my attention.
Sean K
5 years agoCurrently gaming a Ping Karsten TR (PAL model). The BB1 is pure class!
Tommy Wang
5 years agoCurrent gamer: limited RJB bb29 putter and love the feel of the bettinardi line and cannot wait to try their 2018 line up. Love the look of the bb29, bb1, and as always their bb39 mallets. Super curious of how the bb56 would feel like.
Matt
5 years agoCurrently gaming an Edel E3. The BB29 would be my choice based on looks, but am always willing to try new tech on the greens. Would love to roll the BB56 to see how it works out.
Jeff
5 years agoCurrently game a TaylorMade Ghost Black Tour. Love it but am thinking about going back to a blade so my interest is in the classic Beauty BB1.
Thanks
Kurt Neiser
5 years agoCurrently playing the Ping Ketsch. Really like the look of the BB39
Clete D
5 years agoThe blockier the better for me! Call me square (haha), but the BB29 is the one catching my eye. The Prairie Golf heavy milled blade in my bag is ready for retirement (though it has served me well).
Mark C.
5 years agoPicked up an OG iNOVAI at Studio B cause it fit my stroke and was making almost everything with it in the shop. Also game a BB40. Would definitely game that BB56 if I won.
David
5 years agoI currently game a Cleveland Smart Square. I really like the features of the Inovai 5.0 Center Shaft.
Pee Wee Adcock
5 years agoThat iNOVAi 5.0 center shaft sure likes improving me as a putter!
Corey C
5 years agoCurrently gaming a Ping Ketsch
Justin
5 years agoI play the Inovai 3.0 heel shaft version, so I wouldn’t mind trying the 5.0. My concern is more the aesthetics as it looks as though there is too much material distracting from the ball-face interaction.
GilB
5 years agoMy gamer is the Ping Anser 1959, right handed, 35″, and I love the look of the simplest of them all, the BB1. I’d love to see how they compare. The rest of the putters look like they’re trying too hard to expand their line while looking chintzy.
BK in TEXAS
5 years agoCurrently have an Evnroll ER2 in my bag. While I do like it but am not โthrilledโ with it. The new โBLOCKYโ BB29 looks interesting. Iโd definitely like to give that one a try.

5 years agoI am currently using a Taylormade daddy long legs w/counterbalanced grip.
The BB56 and the INOVAI 5.0 CENTER SHAFT both look great.
Played with a guy who had a BETTINARDI putter this summer,
and I realy noticed how smooth the ball seemed to come of the putter face.
Tider992010
5 years agoI like the Inovai 5.0 center shafted model and currently game a Scott GoLo 3 putter. Beutiful putters and wedges!
Braden
5 years agoCurrently gaming a Byron Morgan but would love the iNOVAi 5.0.

Would love to try out the BB39
Tim

Jason H.
5 years agoI currently game the SS 16 and can attest that super fly mill face is very soft. It produces a great sound and roll off the face. I am interested in both the BB 39 and BB 56 as I prefer mallet style putters over blades. I have tried โthe other guyโsโ putters and they didnโt have the feel and craftsmanship that Bettinardi provided. If you havenโt rolled a Bettinardi putter before do yourself a favor and introduce one into your golf game.
Vishal S
5 years agoI am currently using a Taylormade EST 79. I feel my putting needs more feel and acccurqcy, need to change to a bettinardi..
Doug

David Orbach
5 years agoI currently use a Piretti Cottonwood II, but I like the looks of a BB29!
Tony S
5 years agoLiking the BB56 but I did a putter fitting last weekend and am in need of a slightly toe balanced mallett putter. All the mallets above look pretty nice so if one of the others comes balanced right, I’m game! I’m currently playing a TaylorMade Spider that’s in need of an upgrade since it isn’t balanced right for my stroke and setup.
Michael Pettey
5 years agoCurrent gamer is a Seemore Si2 but I’m curious about milled putters without an insert. The Inovai 5.0 CS suits my eye
Akshay
5 years agoThe BB-56 looks sharp. My putting stroke is more friendly for mallets but I can never get past how ugly they look (to me). They either look too clunky or too modern (new SC Futura line). I am currently gaming the 2016 SC Newport 2 but the BB-56 could definitely get me to switch to the mallets with its simple and sleek look.
Ron Pasini
5 years agoCurrently abuse a two ball Odyssey that consistently three putts. Love the look of the BB29
Jim Barrie
5 years agoI have to disagree with the author about the inovai 3.0. Best putter I ever had. I will be trying the inovai 5.0. If it’s better I’ll be trading up!

Nigel
5 years agoI currently play the Cameron Kombi S. I think the BB56 is definitely my jam – bring on the mallets!
Steve trust
5 years agoScotty Cameron California, DelMar, I like them all but favorite is the BB56
Jon Mayer
5 years agoMy current gamer, original odyssey 2-ball, has a great soft feel and the 2-ball look really helps with alignment. I’d love to try the BB1 to see how the milled face feels in comparison but the BB56 would be a great transition putter.
Steve
5 years agoI currently have an Odyssey Sabertooth. Really like the looks of the BB56!
Derrick M
5 years agoI love the classic look of the BB1. I currently game a Scotty Cameron Newport 1.5, but recently I have been intrigued with the idea of using a mallet, so the BB56 could be a nice change.
rand moore
5 years agoMizuno 8086 with a SuperStroke grip.

5 years agoCurrently playing an anser style blade from C&L. That BB56 looks great!
Cameron Henderson
5 years agoAs a junior golfer I donโt get lists of distance so looking for putters and wedges is a great way to improve. I currently use the taylormade Daytona oil slick blade, which I do like but feel a new putter is needed as that is getting quite old. Iโm considering either a Scotty or one of these now that Iโve seen them. Probably the BB1 or BB29. I hope the prize can come in left handed ๐
Gary
5 years agoLove a classic Anser-style blade, so my choice is between the BB1 and BB29. Currently playing an Odyssey Tank blade.

Josh Leyes
5 years agoCurrently gaming a Bettinardi Queen Bee #7. Love it, even though it isn’t the most fogiving putter. The new BB56 and Innovai 5.0 look like they would be great off slight mishits. But my favourite in the new line would be the BB29. Love the alignment built into the boxy (as opposed to blocky) design!
