PUTTOUT TRAINING AIDS – Studio Package Set Up

The PuttOUT Studio Packages

We have all heard about PuttOUT and how addicting their putting ramp is. If I’m honest, I don’t like the endless hours of practice but there’s something to PuttOUT’s ramp. It’s the battle between me, myself and I. And I can’t be beaten by some little ramp.

Now, PuttOUT has many different training aids that fit in well with their ramp like their Travel, Pro and Tour Studio packages. Each helps you get dialed in while at home—or when visiting the in-laws and you need a little “me time.”

Whatever preference, the PuttOUT Studio Packages offer options so no matter where you are, you can still get that putting practice in.

I used to travel for work a great deal. At one point, I had to switch hotels because my prior hotel changed the carpets in their room. I used to practice putting in my room but the new carpets ran way too slow!

I swear by the mirror (to check setup) and the gate(to check start line/intended line. Warming up with these pre round is mandatory for me..

I love my PuttOuts. I have two, one for home and one in my bag. Per my club pro, I don’t worry so much about making it stick into the small hole. That’s too hard and encourages negative feedback for a good putt. I use it on a flat surface to groove in a str8 stroke and for distance accuracy on the practice green

I have the Putting Mirror & Gate Set, personally I think the mirror is a bit too thick, the ball hits higher than in reality, I haven’t tried tilting the mirror yet. I am satisfied with 1 gate and it seems quite stable.
Premium Trainer; if you buy the Premium Trainer without the Puttout logo, you get half the price for the same thing. It was a combi deal together with the Pure2Improve Golf Putting Mat 3.0, 66x300cm. With the information about the state The surface of the mat is made to match the speed of a real green! It doesn’t feel like that to me, in every golf club the greens will be different too.

I have a Putt-Out and it works. Hard to get started on it, but once you get the handle, it is fun to use.

I have used vatious gates and mirrors and the common issue with them is they are too thick. They are about 1/4″ thick which sets your putter that much higher than without the device. When using one of this type I feel as though I am slightly “topping” each putt. Or at least not striking it the way I would without the device.
I have one now with no mirror but it is made fron a thin plastic material which helps with alignment.
Also….these are priced way too high.
