Testers Wanted – Arccos Caddie Platform

Which statistics are most important to track during a round of golf?

It’s not a trick question. Then, again, maybe it is. In some sense, every piece of data is potentially informative.

Regardless, golfers are notoriously bad at self-assessment. We overestimate how far we hit the ball and often conveniently forget the flubbed chips, three-putts and occasional mulligan. But if you’re a golfer who wants to improve, accurate shot-tracking is vital.

Arccos’ AI-powered Caddie platform allows golfers to track, record and analyze every shot.

With that, we’d like to get feedback from MyGolfSpy readers.

TESTERS WANTED

We’re looking for four testers to try the Arccos Caddie performance tracking and management system and report back.

Head to the Arccos Caddie Testing Thread in the forum to apply.

I’ve used Arrcos for the first time this year and use the new caddie link so I can leave my phone in the bag. I’ve found it to be quite accurate on shots but not perfect. The biggest issue is that it misses 15-20 shots a round, but you can add them through the edit feature after the round but you need patience and a good memory of your round. The analytics are top notch. though. I give it a mixed reviewdue to the missed shots.

I have tried both the Arccos system with and without the link and I also tried the Shot Scope V3. The analytics are good but too much fiddle and missing alot of shots. Poor support from both. I would recommend you used your score card and track the info you want for yourself. No missed shots! GO somewhere you can get on trackman or other system and track your shot distances and other stats.

I’ve used arccos for a year but prior to that I had a V2. Yes, shots are missed with both but it’s super easy to add during or post round. With arccos I didn’t mind having a phone in your pocket and I paired with my galaxy watch which was finicky at times but worked. The data you get from the system if super helpful if your willing to humble yourself. I would normally hack away and now I hack with a purpose. IT support is fine, nothing special but they work on resolutions. I recently canceled my $99 yearly subscription as I also have a V3 and wanted to test it against arccos especially as V3 added strokes gained. My first round without arccos was last week and I didn’t charge my V3 so flying blind sucked even at my local track. I made due and trusted my distance which I pulled from my arccos data and played okay. My goal is to get at least 5 rounds up with V3 so I can determine which platform I like best. Overall any shot tracking system is better than no system it’s really about the user and the experience you want to have. Whoever wins will have fun unless you’re that guy who yells and tosses your clubs after a miss hit, sorry Tory.

Arccos is a sh*t show, misses shots all the time. Opted for the link module to avoid the phone in the pocket. Asked for my Srixon ZX4 irons to be added to the app (the ZX5 and ZX7 are there and were all released at the same time) and have been promised with “support tickets” that they would be added in a future update. 4 app updates later and still no ZX4’s…..by the way, why in the heck would Arccos need to have location information all of the time? Save your money…..

I had the prior version of the Arccos system and the I liked a lot of aspects of it , but it did miss a lot of shots ! I would be really interested in testing the newer version to see how much it has improved and if the heads are more durable the the others !!

Been using the Arccos Caddie system for about 1 1/2 years. Also have the Link and recently subscribed to the Atlas report service. 217 rounds logged so far, 15,900 shots. It has helped me significantly over the time I’ve had it to identify strengths and areas for improvement. The yardage tracking and club gapping have pointed out areas of my bag that needed to be addressed. My handicap has come down to the lowest it’s ever been as a result of the insights gained.

Currently use Shotscope V3 (previous v2) and love the analytics it provides; more so now with Strokes Gained data. I’ve been able to dial in my distances and gapping plus it gives me the feedback to show me my weak areas to work on in my range sessions. Would be interesting to see how my current setup compares to Arccos in a side by sides test

I had the game golf then the game golf pro and now i’m using the shot scope v3 with the club tracker.
-Overall the game golf pro is a great concept didn’t have a display to show distance etc…
-I had the shot scope v3 for quite a while and i’m very impressed with the precision and the speed of acquiring the distance. I play all year round ( more than 100 round per year) , i used the app on my phone to look at my stats and this help me to control better my distance.
If you need a tester .please let me know

I have been using Arccos for about three months and while I like the data they collect and make available, but I use my Apple Watch rather than my iPhone or a Link and there are still major issues with the Watch interface. Misses many shots and putts. Arccos are aware and say they are working on fixes.

I made the choice years ago and went with Game Golf, love it. Would love to test what I don’t know and compare with its main competitor.

I have the Arccos system in all my clubs as well as the Link. This is so easy to use you simply link each club sensor and the link on your phone or watch turn it on at the course start your round and put the phone away. 1 thing on putting depending on how hard or light you hit the ball it may not capture the stroke. You simple edit your puts as you go or at the end of the round. I previously had the Garmin C10 sensors Arccos blows the Garmin out of the water. Whoever gets to test the system you’ll love it.

I used the arrcos for about 3 months. It was okay, It missed some shots but was fairly spot on most shots. Just really did not see how it helped my game. I did not like the way the caps felt on my grips, it just felt funny so in the middle of one round I just took them off and since then they have been sitiing in the bottom of one of my pockets in my bag.
