Women’s Golf Survey

We want to hear from female golfers.

In this brief survey, we ask about your playing habits, whether you’ve been fitted and the gear in your bag right now. Are golf equipment and apparel companies meeting your needs?

The survey should only take about five minutes but if there’s something else we should have asked or there’s something else you want us to know, don’t hesitate to use the comment section below.

Click here to take the survey.

Great to see you asking about the female players. I play mens–and can score with the best of them. I don’t necessarily want blue and pink clubs and flowered shirts. What I do want is the right equipment for me. I don’t see the need to change the color of equipment for female golfers…it just makes it look like …our equipment is cute and we’re not serious about our golf. I’d like to see you choose more female golfers to test your equipment….i’ve seen maybe 1-2 over past 3 years.

I’ve completed this although I live in the UK, many of the answer options are specifically USA related. I do think mens equipment do aesthetically look better and are more streamlined, thankfully I have the ability to be able to use game improvement irons

Once the survey has been given time to run its course, it will be interesting to see the demographics here. Such as how many women actually filled in the survey compared to the number of readers who did the previous survey.

I don’t think equipment is the problem. We need more tee boxes to accommodate individuals of all skill levels. We need more female golf instructors and a more welcoming female environment at golf courses. We don’t need golf specific apparel. We need general athletic wear that can accommodate women of all shapes and sizes.

Biggest problem is nor equipment and access to fitting or educated sales personnel.

It is the length of golf courses. Most if not all of my female golf partners, me included, hits 3 wood on 14-16 holes to the green. No man is confronted by this. We play longer courses than any male pro (relatively speaking)

Being tall and left handed has limited my club selection dramatically. Please start accommodating the women of the world with options. I have to use mens clubs and those are limited due to being a left handed player. Every year we talk about this and the apparel seem to appeal to what they believe men would like to look at and disregard function.

Tony, the question about the type of golf balls used…there are more choices than tour balls and women’s balls.. Do you think women don’t recognize other varieties on the market unless they say “Ladies” on the box?
