(4) TESTERS WANTED: MIZUNO JPX 900 IRONS

That Koepka dude looked pretty solid at Erin Hills, didn’t he?

And it’s refreshing to see a Major Winner without an equipment deal. That has to tell you a little about how he feels about the sticks in his bag.

Mizuno is rightfully proud its JPX 900 Tour irons helped conquer the US Open, and while the full JPX 900 line may not help you stay out of even Kevin Na-approved rough, Mizuno is pretty confident its 2017 irons can fit your game nicely.

JPX900_Tour_3Clubs-Shafts

Testers Wanted

Mizuno says the JPX line isn’t necessarily synonymous with game improvement. In Mizzy’s words, the JPX line is reserved for the company’s more technologically advanced irons. The JPX 900 series – including the Hot Metal, Forged and the US Open-winning Tour model – promise distance, control and that famous Mizuno feel.

MyGolfSpy previously tested the JPX 900 lineup, but we want to know what you think. We’re looking for four avid and motivated golfers to test, review and keep a set of Mizzy’s – one golfer to test the JPX 900 Hot Metal, one to test the JPX 900 Forged and two to test the sticks that tamed Erin Hills, the JPX 900 Tour.

JPX 900 - 1

How To Apply:

As you know, MyGolfSpy takes its product testing very seriously. All of our reader reviews are published in our Community Forum (click here to check them out). We expect a lot from our reviewers – writing a thorough, detailed and honest review is a full two-month commitment, requiring extensive range and on-course work as well as participation in the Forum itself to answer questions and discuss product performance with other golfers.

That means to be a potential reviewer you must be a registered member of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, where you’ll find thousands of like-minded golfers from all over the world anxious to talk about golf equipment.

To apply to test, review and keep a set of Mizuno JPX 900 irons, here’s what you have to do:

– First, if you haven’t already, please sign up for the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to register).

– Second, apply ONLY in the Official Mizuno JPX 900 Application Thread in the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here).

JPX 900 - 2

We’ll be announcing the testers in the MyGolfSpy Forum next week, so check back there.

I’m a 8 handicap. I play just about every day during the summer months and every weekend all year round. I think the 900 forged look awesome. I would very much like to test these and have to chance to pass along honest feed back.

Brian Predmest, have been playing with Callaway irons for the last 5 years but have sold Mizuno clubs for the years. I play in south Florida for the last 40 years. Would love to try the Balance 900. You just never know that you can switch when you try something different. I look forward to hearing from you.

I’d love to test however I am in process of being fitted for a set of these. My set however will be a combo of the 900’s and “Tour” with the Tour used in 7-wedges. I play a 2-iron and 3-iron so will do some custom work with bending a 900 3-iron to a 2-iron loft and lie angle. I’ve been a Mizuno player for years and just read that in surveys of tour players that Mizuno irons are in more bags where players aren’t sponsored like Koepka.

Would love to have these to replace my “inherited” old Senior-shafted irons, which I have had for a while. My driver and fairway, which seem to fit me better, have super light-weight stiff-shafts, which I assembled, and put onto my TaylorMade heads. I have been thinking of replacing the irons which have been giving me trouble forever but never got around to; big investment. I am an older retireee golfer, 77 with a mid-to-low-twenty handicap.
Thanks for the slim-to-none chance. :?))

I would like to play the forged irons. I have a fast swing speed and good contact. I play competitive golf in Louisiana and am a pretty accurate iron player. I enjoy hitting balls on the range and giving other people ideas of what clubs To play. I have played many different irons in the past and my whole family plays mizunos. I would love to test these irons.
