It’s no secret that there are a myriad of reasons to walk during your golf rounds instead of riding in the golf cart.
There was a time when every golfer had to carry their golf bag on their shoulders or in their arms. I for one, am incredibly glad we’ve voyaged past that point.
By the way- we haven’t just voyaged past that point, but we’ve set the bar at an all-time high. The golf push carts featured in the 2026 Most Wanted testing pool are incredible (to say the least). To say the most, the OEM’s featured have upped the ante, proving that innovation still exists.
We found quite the mix in this year’s testing pool, with a surprise contender at number one. If you’re searching for a new golf push cart, look no further. We have your best bets prepped for this season, and seasons to come.
Here are the best golf push carts of 2026.
For years, we’ve rigorously tested and analyzed golf push carts to identify the top performers. The best golf push carts excel in durability, maneuverability, stability, features, and ease of storage/transport.
If your shoulders and arms are tired of carrying your bag from hole-to-hole, it may be time to add a push cart to your arsenal. Here are the best golf push carts of 2026.
The Bag Boy Nitron Swivel is built to last with a solid frame, grippy handlebar, and strong wheels. I estimate several seasons of use with proper care.
The Bagboy Nitron Swivel contains a water bottle-holder and plenty of storage to provide all one might need on the golf course.
The Bagboy Nitron Swivel ranked well, but it's not the most foldable push cart of 2026.
The Bagboy Nitron Swivel is the co-best golf push cart of 2026. Bagboy took an already epic “Nitron” model and added a swivel wheel to sweeten the deal.
Testers appreciated the addition of the swivel wheel. One tester noted that last year’s Nitron model was great, but the Nitron Swivel is another step in the right direction.
If you’re searching for a push cart that does it all, the Bagboy Nitron Swivel is a great pick. It’s built to last, loaded with features, and moves on the course like a champ. The Nitron Swivel is a strong contender for every walking-golfer.
Golfers can choose to upgrade their Cybercart Push+ to an electric version with a simple (paid) add-on. It's not cheap, but you have the ability to simply buy a kit if your circumstances change and you want to upgrade to electric.
At $199, you're basically robbing Alphard. This is an INCREDIBLE deal for a top-performing golf push cart.
The Alphard Cybercart Push+ is the co-best golf push cart of 2026. The relationship between value and performance is so perfect that you can’t go wrong
Testers were shocked at the durability, maneuverability, and strong frame that the Cybercart Push+ boasted. One tester lauded the Cybercart Push+ for the ability to upgrade to electric- noting that “it’s a great feature for those looking to make the jump to electric someday.”
Alphard continues its dominance in the push/electric cart field with the Cybercart Push+. This push cart is built for new and seasoned golfers alike- fully prepped for a quick 9-hole round or a long golf trip with your buddies. You’ll have a hard time finding any qualms with the Alphard Cybercart Push+.
The Clicgear Model 4.5 Push Cart is a slight step above the Model 4.0, and contends well with the rest of the 2026 testing pool. If you're looking for a basic and reliable push cart, this is a good place to potentially start.
Push carts with a swivel wheel tend to perform better, and Clicgear hasn't caught on quite yet. If a swivel wheel is a top priority for you, look elsewhere.
The Clicgear Model 4.5 Push Cart is the Runner-Up from the 2026 Most Wanted testing pool. Clicgear strikes again with a basic, solid, and dependable push cart.
Testers appreciated large, bulky wheels built for more rugged terrain. If you play a lot of courses with aggressive terrain, the Clicgear Model 4.5 is built for you and your golf group.
The Clicgear Model 4.5 Push Cart is a solid option for the golfer that prefers walking over riding. The storage capacity is S-Tier. You’ll be able to fit everything you need and more. The overall construction of the Clicgear Model 4.5 Push Cart is built for several seasons of use.
The Sun Mountain Speed Cart X features an extremely easy take-down process for those that are constantly in a hurry.
Like most of the push carts on this list, you can't be considered for a tippy-top spot without a swivel wheel. The Sun Mountain Speed Cart X moves fine, but the maneuverability takes a slight hit.
The Sun Mountain Speed Cart X Push Cart is the Staff Pick from the 2026 Most Wanted Push Cart testing pool. The Speed Cart X Push Cart comes equipped with plenty of storage, rigid wheels, and a competitive price-point.
Testers appreciated a quick set-up/take-down process when utilizing the Speed Cart X. It doesn’t stow as well as other push carts, but it is easy to use/put away. For those the golfer that is constantly rushing to the first tee, consider the Sun Mountain Speed Cart X.
The Sun Mountain Speed Cart X is another great option to consider. The pot is slightly sweetened if you already own a Sun Mountain golf bag, making the Speed Cart X much easier to choose. If you’re looking for a push cart that can handle rugged terrain and last 3-4 seasons (with proper care), the Sun Mountain Speed Cart X works in your favor.
The IP Blade 2 folds and unfolds much easier than other models, making it a good choice for those that hate setup time.
The Blade IP 2 weighs less than 15 pounds beating some of the competition by 3-5 pounds. If transporting your push cart is of concern due to the weight, the IP Blade 2 is a great pick.
The Blade IP 2 offers slightly less maneuverability due to its lack of a swivel wheel.
The Big Max Blade IP 2 is the best lightweight push cart of 2026 weighing in at under 15 pounds. It’s easy to transport and even easier to fold and works well on-course.
Testers appreciated how easy it was to assemble and disassemble the Blade IP 2. One tester noted that “other bags took several minutes to prep/take down while the Blade IP 2 only took a matter of seconds.”
If you’re looking for a lightweight/minimalist push cart, look no further. You won’t find a better offer for this specific category than the Big Max Blade IP 2. The lightweight and minimalistic approach isn’t the only thing to smile about- it’s stable, has plenty of storage, and is priced competitively.
At $199, the list is small when it comes to other affordable push carts. Don't be afraid to shy away from a good deal with above-average performance.
The Motocaddy QB2 is extremely easy to assemble/disassemble. In fact, in might be the easiest of the 2026 testing pool.
The Motocaddy QB2 sits over 0.5 points below our winners from the 2026 testing pool. The QB2 isn't a bad option, but you're trading additional performance metrics for a good deal.
The Motocaddy QB2 Push Cart is the best value golf push cart of 2026. It features easy set-up/take-down, and is a fraction of the price compared to other top models.
Testers appreciated the quick take-down with one tester noting that “this is the fastest take-down process I’ve ever experienced with a push cart.”
If you’re searching for a push cart that is priced well below the norm, the Motocaddy QB2 is a good choice. Don’t worry though- the value isn’t the only reason to buy the QB2. It’s frame is built to last, it’s easy to take-down/set-up, and storage is enough for your valuables.
Aside from our badge-winners, there were a number of carts that performed well and are worth considering if the aforementioned push carts didn’t interest you.

Choosing a new push cart shouldn’t be a hassle. Year in and year out, we try and make the choice much easier for you by diving into the things that make a push cart great.
When looking for a new push cart, make sure you dive into these specific performance indicators. We’ve found these 5 things to be the most important factors when selecting a new golf push cart.

Easy maneuverability is crucial for a golf push cart; otherwise, it defeats the purpose of conserving energy during your rounds.
While three-wheeled models generally offer better steering than four-wheeled options, carts with swiveling front wheels provide an almost effortless experience.
For ultimate maneuverability and a cart that glides through turns, consider the Bagboy Nitron Swivel, Alphard Cybercart Push+, and the Maxfli 3-Wheel ATV Push Cart.

A good golf push cart should offer essential features such as drink holder, adjustable handle-height, phone space, and more.
Several models stand out for in this category.

Don’t overlook the importance of having reliable brakes on your golf push cart. Top models featured a brake that applied to both wheels or at least one (at a bare minimum).
Electric or gas powered golf carts feature the ability to magnetize your rangefinder to the golf cart itself. Some models came prepared and offer the same technology for your push cart.

If you buy a push cart that is only going to last you 1-2 seasons, you’re making a mistake.
When spending $199+ on a golf push cart, you should expect a bare minimum of 3 seasons of use. The top models feature much more and you can expect years and years of play with proper maintenance and care. If you treat your gear good, your gear will treat you good.

Stability is paramount.
What we look for in this category is a mix of several things such as:
Bags that didn’t include these features in the stability section were penalized, with some bags rising to the occasion and offering top-notch stability. If you play a lot of golf courses with tougher terrain, make sure you utilize a bag that is equipped for the task.

Folding size may not matter for some, but to others- it’s everything.
If you’re tight on space in your house (or your transport to the course for that matter), look into these options to save additional space.

Our expert staff rigorously tests push carts both in our state-of-the-art facility and on the course. Each cart undergoes a series of strict protocols to ensure it meets our high standards before receiving a final score.
Push carts are scored based on the following criteria:

Before you hit the links with your new golf push cart, here are some tips to enhance your experience:

1. Swivel wheels lead to higher maneuverability scores. The swivel wheel is paramount if you’re searching for the best maneuverability on the market. Other models lacking a swivel wheel performed fine, but below performers with a swivel wheel.
2. Features are a necessity. At the very least, a push cart needs a phone holder and a spot for your water bottle. When you take the energy required to play golf and mix it with high temperatures, you will want to keep yourself hydrated and your phone out of the sun.
3. Convenience is entirely up to you. If you’re looking for a “straight-out-of-the-box” push cart, you can have that. If you don’t mind trading a little bit of set-up time for higher performance, that’s readily available as well.

Bring back air tires! Anyone have a bicycle with solid tires? No, of course not. It would be an immense effort to pedal anywhere. Same applies golf trolleys. Todays carts are much harder to push.
When my old faithful speed cart needs replacement, unless a pneumatic-tire cart is available, I’ll be getting an electric i guess..
