What do these hybrids have in common?

At first glance, the TaylorMade Qi35 and Orka RSX couldn’t be more different. The Qi35 is built for distance and topped our charts in total yardage while the RSX focused on consistency. It ranked last in distance but first in forgiveness.

Both have clear trade-offs. The Qi35’s speed comes with wider dispersion and the RSX’s reliability limits overall length.

How much longer is the TaylorMade Qi35?

The TaylorMade Qi35 averaged roughly 17 yards longer in total distance than the Orka RSX (199 yards versus 182). That gap came from faster ball speeds, about four mph higher on average, and a slightly lower, more penetrating flight (24 feet peak height versus 26).

For golfers who struggle to reach longer par-4s or need extra carry from the top of the bag, that 15– to 20-yard advantage could be hard to ignore. But if you value consistency and tighter dispersion, the Orka RSX makes a strong case for giving up a little distance to gain a lot more reliability.
