Ben Hogan GS53 Driver – (4) Testers Wanted

So just how far do you think your new driver is going to go?

Every year, the new drivers keep coming, and we golfers keep buying. Are they worth it? Are there any hidden gems and great values to be had? The answers are maybe, and most definitely.

You may think of Ben Hogan Golf is primarily an iron company, and you’d be right. But last year Hogan released its first new driver since the early 2000s with the GS53. Hogan has touted the GS53 as one of the best looking and best-performing drivers available – one that is worthy of the Ben Hogan name.

If you’re a regular reader of this space…you know what’s coming next…

Ben Hogan GS53 Driver – Testers Wanted

MyGolfSpy is looking for four dedicated, detail-oriented and enthusiastic golfers to try the Hogan GS53 for themselves. The four lucky golfers will get to test, review and keep the GS53, and report back to our Community Forum how it performs.

This testing opportunity is open to all Forum members in the US/Canada and UK. Sorry lefties, the GS53 is available in right-handed models only.

The COVID-19 crisis is still with us and will likely extend the review period, but testing out a brand new driver will be a great way to make your return to the course that much more enjoyable.

Please Note!

All of MyGolfSpy’ s Community Reviews require a serious commitment on the part of the reviewer. You’ll need to be motivated, detail-oriented, and savvy with online forums. Writing a thorough, detailed, and honest review is a full two-month commitment, so please make sure you read the following instructions carefully and apply in the proper place.

Please note this is not a giveaway or a contest. We’re looking for four golfers committed to making a full evaluation and writing a detailed review for our Community Forum. Testers will be selected based on how well they demonstrate that commitment in the official Forum Application Thread.

That means to be a potential reviewer, you must be a registered member of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, where you’ll find thousands of like-minded golfers from all over the world anxious to talk about golf equipment.

I have had this driver for a year and will say it is NOTHING special just a middle of the road performer…. no one that has hit it on the range or course (several) have ask to hit it again……when you use a more controlled, slower swing it is a good enough fair way finder for shorter par 4 and 5’s.
