FootJoy Mints Special Todd Snyder Premiere Series Shoes

Just a few weekends ago, Mystik Dan took home the Kentucky Derby crown. The riveting horserace came down to a dramatic photo finish.

He’s not the only winner. Chalk one up for FootJoy!

Today, FootJoy released a collaboration with renowned fashion designer Todd Snyder. The “Mint Julep” Premiere Series, fittingly named for the cocktail of choice at the Kentucky Derby, arrives in time for the PGA Championship.

Sure, Mystik Dan stole the show, but FootJoy’s “Mint Julep” Premiere Series is every bit the stunner that the Kentuck Derby finish was. Seriously, if you can find a more breathtaking pair, let me know.

Both the FootJoy Wilcox and Field models are elevated with classy patent leather and pastel “mint” pops of color. I’ve not had the pleasure of attending the Kentucky Derby but the elegance that exudes from each shoe seems to match the aura of those privileged to attend the popular event.

As with every FootJoy collab, the performance DNA of the Wilcox and Field models remains unchanged. Versatrax+ outsole, Ortholite EcoPlush FitBed and top-notch stability. You get the idea.

Whether or not you ever get to enjoy a Mint Julip at the Kentucky Derby, this limited-edition collection is the perfect way to show off your style and embody the winning spirit that makes the Debry a permanent fixture in American pop-culture.

There’s no better way to mix up your golf wardrobe than with a pair of golf shoes inspired by an iconic mixed drink. You can shop the new FootJoy x Todd Snyder “Mint Julep” Premiere Series now at FootJoy.

I play a lot of golf and walk as much as I can (getting less at almost 80), and my requirements for golf shoes is they feel good, my feet feel good after 18 holes. They need to be athletic in design, light, stable, spiked and waterproof. Looks and hype are unimportant. Cost is less important, as I’ll pay a premium for shoes that meet my requirements.

FootJoy makes a lot of shoes that meet these requirements. Signature or limited addition shoes seldom make my list.
