The Atlanta-based golf retail giant has decided to increase the value of the membership by adding childcare services, a first for the golf retail industry.

With an approximate value of $200 per day, the new childcare add-on quickly rockets to the top of the Player’s Club Plus membership perks, giving golfers a way to practice, get fitted and shop without the burden of toting a hangry toddler around.

As part of the new initiative, PGA TOUR Superstore is providing a dual certification to its fitters. Those who complete the intensive course will become certified to provide childcare services in addition to their existing duties as fitters.

PGA TOUR Superstores approach to childcare mirrors that of a Montessori school, with plenty of hands-on learning opportunities. From the fitting bays to the footwear section, children will have a chance to “help” childcare specialists better serve customers.
