If this is your first time hearing about the Biggest Contest In the History of MyGolfspy, be sure to check out yesterday’s post for additional details.
Sponsors (Prize Hints)
TaylorMade – It’s no secret that MyGolfSpy hasn’t always had the best relationship with TaylorMade but that won’t stop us from admitting that we think 2012’s lineup isn’t just the company’s strongest in years – it’s also features some of our very favorite gear on the market today. See what might be part of the prize package.
Adams – No other company has done as well across 3 different review categories – drivers, hybrids, and irons – under the MyGolfspy ULTIMATE Review System. With that in mind, is it any wonder why we’re excited to offer this opportunity for a few lucky readers to experience a taste of what Adams Golf has to offer? Will This Be Your Prize?
Bridgestone – They gave us one of the highest reviewed drivers in MyGolfSpy’s history. Their J40 wedges were strong performers as well, and although we haven’t tested them – yet, readers are raving about Bridgestone irons too. 2012 has been a banner year for the company that is still is better known for its outstanding lineup of golf balls and pioneering BFIT System.
Mizuno – A favorite of Golf Spies X, T and more than a few MyGolfSpy Readers. Mizuno irons and wedges consistently rank among the highest scoring in their categories. Some would argue Mizuno offers the best irons and wedges among the big OEMs. There are plenty of reasons why we wouldn’t disagree.
ScorGolf – The evolution of Terry Kohler’s popular Eidolon brand. With their Short Game Intelligence SCOR was the only smaller company to receive a 2012 Hotlist medal from Golf Digest. While that’s all well and good, we think the company got screwed. If the 4161 Series isn’t a gold medal wedge, we don’t know what is.
Bettinardi – Some of his prototype and Tour Issue putters are among the most sought after collectibles in the golf industry today. And Bettinardi’s BB and Studio Stock Series putters are pretty sweet too.
Sub70 Apparel – A British company slowly gaining traction on our side of the pond, Sub70 has quickly become a favorite of Golf Spy T and GolfSpy Tim. We could talk about Sub70 style and comfort, but it’s just easier to say “best pants ever“, and leave it at that.
TRUE Linkswear – Beyond question TRUE Links produces the single most popular shoe among the MyGolfSpy Staff. Hell, because of its performance and unsurpassed comfort, TRUE Linkswear has essentially become the “Unofficial Golf Shoe of the MyGolfSpy Staff”.
Bushnell – The #1 Rangefinder on Tour and a favorite of GolfSpy Dave, Bushnell is not only a leader in golf optics, but as you’ll see when we announces the prizes, Bushnell is also one of the most innovative in the laser and GPS game today.
Custom Golf Bags Online – It’s not just that J. Stewart Golf is one of the few (if not the only) place where anyone can order a 100% Custom cart or staff bag in a quantity of 1; when we saw the amazing job they did on a bag for GolfSpy Tim we were all beyond impressed…and frankly a little jealous. This stuff is sick.

Bridgestone irons — no reviews? When do you think you might review their J40 dual-pocket cavity backs? I’m asking because I won a set in a raffle and am wondering whether to keep them or sell them – and I don’t want to unwrap them and hit them because I don’t want to degrade their value. You guys would be doing us all (and me, in particular…) a great public service by testing and reviewing these irons!
