Have you played a golf video game? My favorite aspect of the games has always been the putting. I love seeing the break of the greens displayed out in front of me with a series of colored lines and arrows. I love seeing the contours of the green highlighted so I can adjust my putt accordingly. If I’m honest, in a lot of ways the video game putt practice has helped my real game.

Once this is complete, a layer is placed ontop that shows exactly how water would flow, or in our terms, a ball would roll. Finally a contour map is extracted that shows each elevation at 1 inch intervals. All of these are compiled together and bam, interactive video game-like guide to the green. Wow.
