Testers Wanted: Cleveland HiBore XL Drivers

The Cleveland HiBore XL driver, an iconic design from 18 years ago, is making a comeback. Cleveland Golf has reintroduced this classic with updated materials and modern technology, aiming to combine nostalgia with contemporary performance. The unique HiBore crown, known for its low and deep center of gravity, promises higher launch, lower spin, and maximum forgiveness. But can this retro-inspired driver live up to today’s standards? We’re seeking five MyGolfSpy readers to find out.

Key features:

  • HiBore Crown Technology: Maintains its low and deep center of gravity design to promote higher launch and reduced spin.
  • Modern Materials: Updated construction for enhanced durability and performance.
  • Forgiveness-Focused: Large clubface designed to improve consistency, even on off-center hits.
  • Nostalgic Design: Retro aesthetics combined with modern engineering for a unique blend of old-school and new-school appeal.

What they will be testing

Selected testers will put the Cleveland HiBore XL to the test, focusing on its launch, spin characteristics, distance, forgiveness, and overall playability. We want to know if this reimagined classic delivers on its claims and how it stacks up against today’s drivers. Your feedback will help golfers determine if this driver is more than just a trip down memory lane

I would love to test the Lite version as it’s the only option for left-handed players.
