Testers Wanted: COBRA DS-ADAPT Series

COBRA’s DS-ADAPT lineup has been making waves by boasting about unparalleled adjustability and updated performance attributes. Of course, that has us wondering: How are these updates going to impact real-world golfers? With that question in mind, we’re seeking MyGolfSpy Forum members to test and provide feedback on this lineup of clubs.

COBRA DS-ADAPT Driver, fairway woods, hybrids

The DS-ADAPT driver, fairway woods and hybrids introduce the FF33 Adjustable Hosel System, offering 33 adjustment positions for precise shot shaping. This system allows golfers to fine-tune their trajectory and shot shape, enhancing overall performance. But is it too much? Can that be more damaging than helpful? This is only part of the story we want to find out!

What’s included for testers?

  • One COBRA DS-ADAPT driver
  • Two additional long-game clubs (testers can choose a combination of fairway woods and hybrids)

Key aspects testers will evaluate:

  • Adjustability and customization: Assessing the effectiveness of the FF33 Adjustable Hosel System in optimizing ball flight and personalizing performance.
  • Distance and forgiveness: Evaluating how the H.O.T. Face Technology influences ball speed and consistency across the face.
  • Real-world playability: Determining the overall performance of the clubs during actual play.

This test is an opportunity to explore how COBRA’s DS-ADAPT technology performs on the course, providing valuable insights for fellow golfers.

COBRA DS-ADAPT and DS-ADAPT MAX Irons

In this testing opportunity, each participant will receive two full sets of irons—the DS-ADAPT and DS-ADAPT MAX—to compare directly. After thorough testing, the set that doesn’t fit your game will be passed on to another tester for further evaluation, fostering a community-driven testing process.

What’s included for testers?

  • One full set of COBRA DS-ADAPT irons
  • One full set of COBRA DS-ADAPT MAX irons

Key aspects testers will evaluate:

  • Performance comparison: Analyzing differences in launch, spin, forgiveness and overall playability between the two models.
  • Suitability for individual game: Determining which iron set aligns better with personal playing style and preferences.
  • Community engagement: Sharing insights and experiences with other testers and forum members to provide comprehensive feedback.

This testing process emphasizes real-world performance and community involvement, offering valuable perspectives on COBRA’s iron offerings.

I moved to Cobra darkspeed driver Ls, 3 wood and hybrid last year and it massively improved my long game and has a great feeling to it,So if the the DS-Adapt driver does what it says and can actually fine tune the shot shape of any golfers and give a more consistent results compared with the normal darkspeed ls i think it would make for a even better driver although I’m doughtful of how different it would actually be but it would be great to compare.

Currently bombing my 3 diamond Ai smoke at Royal Norwich since swapping from my tried and tested titlist drivers over the last decade, will say it’s an awsome driver from 2024 and worth looking at with the elyte out bargains to be had. I’ve been brand loyal in the past but with today’s market that’s short sited and now have a mixed bag of brands to Taylor my equipment to getting my hcp as low as possible. Playing once a fortnight max last year and getting down to 8.3 was a highlight but with change in work able to play min weekly now so testing other irons and drivers such as the cobras would be amazing if selected.
