The Sunday Golf x 7-Eleven Bag Is Back (Yes, That One)

First things first, I am not a hypebeast but I do understand the appeal of street style and unique collabs. As a 28 year old, I sit at a really unique intersection when it comes to golf. At my core, I’m a definite traditionalist, but there are parts of me that understand and appreciate the fun and genuinely unorthodox ways that younger folks are impacting the game. Sunday Golf’s collaboration with 7-Eleven is just one of the things that I get.

If you were paying attention in 2024, you probably remember when Sunday Golf and 7-Eleven quietly dropped one of the most unexpected golf bags in recent memory. A white, green, and red carry bag that looked straight from the late ’70s, it sold out almost immediately and somehow became a cult item overnight. It was equal parts ridiculous and brilliant, which is exactly why people loved it.

Now, they’re bringing it back for a limited-time pre-sale through January 16. The bag is priced at $249, with orders expected to ship later this year in July. If you missed it the first time around, this is your second chance.

What makes this collab work is that it fully commits to the bit. The branding is loud, playful, and instantly recognizable, but the bag itself is still a legitimate Sunday Golf Ryder Bag. It’s lightweight, functional, and works just as well walking or riding. Underneath the novelty, this is still a bag you can actually use.

There’s also something refreshing about a golf product that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Golf has plenty of heritage, tradition, and reverence. Every once in a while, it’s nice to see a brand lean into fun and do it without apology. This bag isn’t for everyone (including me), and it doesn’t need to be. It’s for the person who appreciates the absurdity of grabbing a post-round Slurpee at a 7-Eleven and doesn’t mind turning a few heads on the course.

If history is any indication, this won’t stick around long. If you want one, waiting it out probably isn’t the move.

The “N” in the logo is wrong, should be a lowercase “n”…

I would grab some 7-11 head covers if they made them.

Its based on a Sunday Golf El Camino bag not a Ryder Bag, and thus is only intended for a maximum of 10 clubs.

Thanks to Hen Bogan for pointing out something so important that I can’t believe the “professional” journalist omitted or overlooked. Thank you Hen. I went to the Sunday Golf website and fortunately the website does point this out, but it would be possible for an overly excited buyer to have missed that very important information.
