Golf apparel has gotten expensive. Really expensive. Polos, for the most are generally $100+. Quarter-zips creeping toward $150. Even basic layering pieces now live in a price range that used to be reserved for outerwear.
Which is why when a good sale comes up, it makes sense to upgrade your wardrobe at a discount. You don’t need to spend a fortune on good golf apparel. Let’s be real, that’s not practical or smart. We talk a lot about playing smart golf, so let’s talk about playing smart finances.
Worldwide Golf Shops’ President’s Day apparel sale is offering an additional 25% off sale apparel and is full of pieces from brands most golfers already wear or want to wear. Nike. adidas. J.Lindeberg. Puma. Ashworth. Zero Restriction. These are actual, established brands and really solid pieces at prices that make buying palatable.
What stands out most is how much is available under $100— and a lot is significantly under $100. Shoot, you can find quite a few things under $20 (Puma polos, we’re looking at you). We’ve reached a point where today, anything under $100 is on the more affordable side of things, but I kid you not, they’ve got a lot of good stuff on sale. Golf style, like anything else, is cumulative. One good polo becomes two. One solid layer becomes a reliable rotation. Over time, your wardrobe starts to feel curated and something you take pride as opposed to being haphazard. Sales like this make that process easier.
You don’t need to overhaul everything at once. But if you’ve been waiting for a reason to upgrade a few pieces without paying full price, this is one of the better opportunities you’ll find.
