Very cool to get an inside look at this kind of thing. Was kind of along the lines of what I was thinking. It’s a cool looking picture list though.

Parker…get a charcoal grill and go old style forging man!!! Lehman still uses the the little faced irons and I”m sure they’ll make a come back if you video the process and give it to MGS to post here.
I have only hit Tour Edge’s 3 wood and I loved it! I didn’t buy it (dumby me), and went with a Ping instead. Let me just say that was a mistake after a swing change. This article was great and I look forward to more of them. I like Parker’s idea though – we should come up with our own brand of irons after learning how to do it ourselves!!! I see sponsorships in the future maybe even a tournament after MGS??? huh, huh? Just call me Big Idea Guy (with no foundation) and not BogeyThis.

Alright BIG…now you’ve done it. Originally, I was just joking, but now I’m seriously going to research and see where I can get an iron cast and figure out if this is really doable. Watch out Mizuno and Titleist! We’re going to make the best forged irons known to man on a travel BBQ!

I love Exotics! I have the original Exotics driver coming in the mail this week. =) I wish there were some picture of the chemical bonding process. I’m sure very few people have ever seen such a thing. Great article though. I think most golf gear heads love seeing how clubs are made. I know I sure do. If only I could figure out how to forge my own irons using my kitchen stove.

This is a interesting read. I knew that Tour Edge used to Chemical Brazing instead of welding , but I had never seen pictures of the process until now. These are the things I love to see. It always intrigues me to see how the clubs we use are made.
