Very interesting on wedges. 1) Regarding wetness, a common hydrophobic product is “RAIN-X”. On occasion, before a round, I may use RAIN-X or denatured alcohol to clean club faces and balls. They both have a drying effect which impacts spin and beading moisture. 2) On occasion. a dremel with a fine blade cutting wheel, carefully run though the scoring wedges clears debris from my Volkey and Callaway clubs. This process was one discussed while attending a Pelz training session several years ago. 3) To clear the mind, a process once known as bio-feedback training, used a focus on a mental picture of a blank white sheet of paper, to clear the brain of busyness for purpose of rest and de-stress during long period of required focus on complex problem solving – in my case the task was military related signals interception.
