Exactly what is the problem with playing a matte finish ball? Apparently when wet it launches higher (that’s a problem?) and has other performance inconsistencies, but these were never specified. So is it a problem because it goes further when wet? If so, can I take a spray bottle with me and give the ball a squirt before hitting it?
