I Didn’t Even Know These Women’s Golf Shoes Existed. Now I’m Buying A Second Pair

I’ve written about and read quite a bit about Payntr golf shoes this year. On the men’s side. They performed extremely well in testing and kept showing up in conversations about traction, stability and underfoot support. For some reason, it never crossed my mind to check whether Payntr made women’s golf shoes.

But a few months ago, I went looking and, sure enough, Payntr does make women’s golf shoes. After all the hype surrounding the brand, I was excited to try them. Not to spoil this “review” but I can tell you I won’t stop at just one pair. I already have my eye on another color.

The pair I tried

The model I tested is the Payntr Sport Classic LE (Women’s). It’s positioned as a crossover-style golf shoe but it’s built with real performance materials. You get a full-grain leather upper, a Waterproof+ breathable membrane, a TPU outsole designed for three-dimensional traction and a PMXNITROGEN+ midsole paired with an Ortholite footbed.

Right now, my golf is a little different than it used to be. I’m not playing competitively. I want a shoe I can jump in the cart with, play a few holes with my family and stop at the clubhouse afterward without feeling like I’m wearing something overly rigid or bulky.

That said, I still care a lot about performance. If a shoe slips, I’m out. I’ve put too much work into improving rotation and ground forces to wear something that can’t handle torque.

These shoes handled both sides of that equation better than I expected.

Comfort that matters

I’m not afraid to say it: this is the most comfortable golf shoe I’ve ever owned.

The cushioning doesn’t feel soft in a way that collapses. The Ortholite footbed compresses less than five percent so the feel stays consistent throughout the round. The PMXNITROGEN+ midsole gives noticeable energy return without feeling unstable.

I want to keep these on after I’m done playing. Honestly, I want Payntr to come out with a women’s running shoe. I’d switch to it immediately.

Cooler than me (But I’m OK with that)

I’m used to more traditional-looking golf shoes so when I first put these on, I had a moment of “are these cooler than I am?”

They might still be. But I can pull them off.

The Sport Classic LE has a clean, modern look that works on and off the course.

Rotational support you can trust

This is where the performance side really shows up.

The TPU outsole provides traction in multiple directions and stays consistent through rotation. I never felt like my feet were sliding or lagging behind my body. The support underfoot is stable without feeling restrictive, exactly what I want from a golf shoe.

Final thoughts

If, like me, you didn’t realize Payntr made women’s golf shoes, I’d highly recommend giving them a look. The Sport Classic LE has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

They wipe clean, literally just a wet paper towel will do it.

I’m sure you only play in the cheap stuff so you’re not used to quality. These will have no issues whatsoever.
