Price-drop season is here. With 2026 driver releases rolling out, several recent standouts have finally slipped into more realistic price territory for many golfers. If you didn’t pull the trigger on a new driver in 2025 but you’re ready now, these four stand out because testing already proved they work. The calendar changing didn’t erase that performance.
This isn’t a list of the cheapest drivers available. It’s a look at the drivers that I think are the best deals for the money right now.
PING G430 Max 10K — $450
It took a while for the Max 10K price to drop.
The Max 10K held up in both 2024 and 2025 testing and continues to deliver extreme stability, predictable launch and consistent results across the face. This remains some of the best forgiveness technology PING has produced.
PING drivers rarely fall into the cheap category, even used. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to buy the Max 10K, this could be it.
Titleist TSR2 — $399
In past driver testing, the TSR2 delivered strong ball speed retention, stable spin and consistent carry numbers across a wide range of swing speeds. It’s easy to hit and while it may not have the newest technology featured in the GT series, its price makes it an appealing option if your current driver is showing its age.
TaylorMade Qi10 LS — $399
In MyGolfSpy’s 2024 driver testing, Qi10 LS finished as the best overall driver for faster swing speeds. It separated itself with ball speed, spin control and accuracy. Qi10 LS stayed in the bags of several professionals throughout the 2025 season even after the release of the Qi35.
This isn’t the most forgiving driver in the group but for golfers who generate speed and need spin control without losing accuracy, Qi10 LS delivers exactly what the data showed.
Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond — $549
This is the one that stretches the budget but it earns its spot.
Elyte Triple Diamond dropped from $669 to $549 and while its price still sits above the others on this list, it’s a driver you can keep in the bag for years. It also happens to be the driver in my bag and the club that won the best overall driver title from MyGolfSpy in 2025.
It showed that its performance wasn’t limited to only high swing speed players. Ball speed, dispersion and consistency held up across a broader range of golfers.
If you want the best overall driver performance we saw in 2025 for a little more than $100 less than new, this is a smart buy right now.

The best driver for the money, is the Sub 70 859 at $399. It’s the best driver I’ve ever owned. Not the best diver I’ve owned for under $400, or whatever, the best, period. If I’d bought the Elyte, which I was close to doing, I’d feel like a chump right now.
