L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 MAX

The DF 2.1 started it all for L.A.B. Golf. Its oversized, high-MOI shape makes it extremely stable and easy to align. Though it wasn’t included in the 2025 test, it continues to have a loyal following among golfers who prefer a point-and-shoot visual with maximum forgiveness
Who it’s for: Golfers who like larger heads, need visual help with alignment and want maximum stability from a putter.
Final thoughts
Choosing a L.A.B. putter comes down to proper fitting. The 2025 MyGolfSpy data clearly showed that the OZ.1i delivers elite, measurable performance, but not every golfer will prefer its firmer feel or price. Zero-torque putters can make putting feel simpler but only when they match your stroke.

Brittany’s not kidding about the fitting part. If your stroke requires an unusually flat or upright lie, IME you’re not going to get the benefits of the LAB concept from a stock putter.
Fitting is pretty painless though for their putters. Just send in a video of you putting per the directions on their site, and you’ll eventually get an email back with a length & lie recommendation that’s fairly dead-on. If that’s something like 34″ and 70° (standard-ish) then go try one at a big box and see if it’s for you.

That’s a helpful process. Do they charge for it?
