Best Golf Gloves

The best golf glove is a simple question with multiple answers. The right glove for you will depend on preferences and likely gender. The best glove for a man who prefers all Cabretta leather will be different than a woman who likes breathable performance fabrics. Let’s look at a few options and you can decide the best for you.

The Best Men’s Performance Golf Glove

MIZUNO ELITE

Performance gloves typically have a fine line between quality and durability. Premium materials tend to wear faster in spots. The Mizuno Elite line balances these two better than any other glove tested. Soft-fitted leather provides excellent feel and grip while mesh material across the knuckles improves the fit. It’s the best performance golf glove available.

PXG PLAYERS

The most premium glove you can get should provide the closest experience to not wearing a glove at all. The PXG Players glove receives top marks for both comfort and fit. This means you can improve grip and protect your hands without sacrificing feel. While they can only be purchased through PXG, the Players is the best men’s premium glove.

The Best Men’s Value Golf Glove

KIRKLAND SIGNATURE

Some golfers might look at the price of one premium golf glove and feel like they should get four for that. With the Kirkland Signature packs they can. Available from Costco, the Kirkland Signature glove might not always have consistent quality or fit (and the logo certainly isn’t for everyone), but you can’t argue with $6.74 per leather glove.

The Best Women’s Performance Golf Glove

FOOTJOY CONTOUR FLX

Consistent performance in a golf glove is going to come from a consistent fit. While men’s gloves might work well for some, many female golfers might be sacrificing feel by not using a correctly sized glove. If you want a consistent fit from glove to glove, the Contour FLX has you covered. Its soft leather remains strong and supple during your swing. It is the best women’s performance glove.

INESIS TOUR

If the budget offering from Costco just doesn’t fit right, a good value might be found at another major retailer, Decathlon. The Inesis Tour has leather with buttery-soft feel and a consistent fit. The premium materials and feel are available at a less-premium price than major manufacturers. Because of that, the Inesis Tour is the best value women’s golf glove.

Based on this review I ordered the PXG glove. It arrived and I was very excited to try it on, I ordered the black model. It fit perfectly on all my fingers except for the thumb. where it had an extra 1/4 of inch of material in length that bunched up. I’ve worn a Titleist Players Glove for year and never had this problem. I emailed PXG customer service and. they requested pictures before they would do anything. I sent them pictures and their response was “that’s how the glove is made” – they didn’t want to send another one and said it would be the same and they asked if I wanted to “return it for a refund” – that was 2 days ago, still no answer about my return or how to do that…I’m not that impressed with their customer service. I understand dealing with a $25 glove is not a priority. The Titleist Players glove blows this away…the leather is very nice on the PXG, and other fingers fit well, but according to them, the problem is my hand, not their design. Isn’t Cadet XL a standard size?
