Best driver of 2026

The TaylorMade Qi4D earned the title of Best Driver of 2026 by doing everything well. It finished sixth for distance, fourth for accuracy and fourth for forgiveness, producing the most complete performance in the test. The Qi4D earned a 9.2 MGS Score with no obvious weakness in any of our three scoring categories. If you want one driver that blends distance, accuracy and consistency, this is where we’d start.

Best driver for high swing speeds 2026

For golfers swinging 105 mph or faster, the Callaway Quantum Max was the clear winner. It earned a 9.7 MGS Score and finished second for distance, first for forgiveness and fifth for accuracy among high swing speed testers. That combination is especially impressive considering this is Callaway’s standard Quantum Max rather than one of its lower-spinning Triple Diamond models.

Best driver for mid swing speeds 2026

The TaylorMade Qi4D was also our top driver for golfers swinging between 90 and 105 mph. Accuracy was its biggest strength, earning a 9.7 accuracy score while still providing plenty of distance. It finished with a 9.3 MGS Score in the mid swing speed test and ranked in the top 10 for distance. It’s another reason the Qi4D ultimately climbed to the top of our overall driver rankings.

Best driver for slow swing speeds 2026: LA GOLF Driver

For golfers swinging below 90 mph, the LA GOLF driver produced one of the more surprising performances of the entire driver test. It earned a 9.4 MGS Score with a 9.6 for accuracy, 9.5 for forgiveness and 9.1 for distance. It didn’t need to dominate one individual category to win because it was consistently near the top in all three. It’s just hard to get your hands on because LA GOLF is moving away from producing new clubs in 2026. The Srixon ZXI is the runner-up worth considering.

Best mini driver 2026

The TaylorMade R7 Quad is the Best Mini Driver of 2026 and distance is the biggest reason why. It was the top performer in our tee testing and finished second when hit from the fairway. The R7 Quad earned a 9.2 distance score and an 8.9 MGS Score overall. Forgiveness isn’t its biggest strength but, if you want a mini driver that can provide legitimate driver-like performance off the tee, this is the one to beat. It was a good year for TaylorMade drivers.

Best fairway wood 2026

The Mizuno JPX One took the top spot in our 2026 fairway wood test with accuracy and forgiveness leading the way. It earned a 9.2 accuracy score and a 9.4 forgiveness score, finishing second in the field in both categories. Distance was closer to average so this isn’t necessarily the fairway wood for the golfer chasing every last yard. However, if you want reliable performance from the tee and the turf, the JPX One proved difficult to beat.

Best hybrid 2026

Mizuno also took home Best Hybrid with the JPX One. Accuracy carries the most weight in our hybrid testing and the JPX One finished first in that category with a 9.8 accuracy score. It also produced solid distance and forgiveness to finish with a 9.3 MGS Score. One thing to watch is spin because the JPX One was among the higher-spinning hybrids in the test but for golfers looking for a long iron replacement that prioritizes hitting the target, it was our top performer.

Best driving iron 2026

The Titleist U•505 is our Best Driving Iron for the second consecutive year. It earned a 9.1 distance score and a 9.0 accuracy score, the two areas that matter most in our driving iron evaluation. Forgiveness wasn’t as strong, something to consider if your ball striking is inconsistent.

Best game-improvement irons 2026

The Takomo Iron 101 MKII earned a 9.2 MGS Score to finish first in our 2026 game-improvement iron testing. Accuracy was the difference with the 101 MKII earning a 9.5 and leading the category in the metric we weight most heavily. It backed that up with a 9.1 forgiveness score while remaining competitive for distance. At $579 for the set, the performance also makes the 101 MKII one of the more interesting values in the category.

Best super game-improvement irons 2026

The Tour Edge Hot Launch Max D put together one of the most balanced performances in our super game-improvement iron test. It finished first for accuracy while ranking inside the top three for distance and forgiveness. The larger iron-wood style profile won’t appeal to every golfer but the performance is hard to argue with. At $599.99 for the set, it’s also an impressive combination of performance and value.

Best player’s irons 2026

The Titleist T150 took the top spot in a player’s iron category where there typically isn’t much separation from one club to the next. Distance and consistency pushed it ahead with a 9.7 distance score and a 9.1 forgiveness score. Interestingly, accuracy wasn’t its strongest category, despite accuracy carrying the most weight in our iron testing.

Best player’s distance irons 2026

The Wilson DYNAPWR Forged didn’t just win our player’s distance iron test. It finished first in accuracy and forgiveness, earning scores of 9.8 and 9.3, respectively. Add an 8.8 distance score and the result was a category leading 9.4 MGS Score. If Wilson isn’t normally a brand you consider when shopping for irons, the DYNAPWR Forged’s performance gives you a pretty good reason to reconsider.

Best wedge 2026

Yes, the $67 Kirkland Signature GEN 3 Forged beat every wedge in our 2026 test. Its performance in wet conditions also helped separate it from the field, an important part of our wedge testing that golfers don’t always consider. Availability and limited loft and grind options are legitimate drawbacks but strictly from a performance standpoint, the Kirkland earned the win.

Best zero-torque putter 2026

The Odyssey Ai-Dual S2S #7 finished first in a very strong 2026 zero torque putter category. It produced the best performance on long putts while also ranking near the top on both short and medium putts. That consistency resulted in the best overall PuttView Handicap in the category. With its strong scoring, it also earned best overall putter of 2026.

Best mallet putter 2026

The Bettinardi BB 6.0 earned the best overall PuttView Handicap of the 29 mallets we tested in 2026. Its biggest strengths came at short and long range, a useful combination when you’re trying to eliminate both missed short putts and three-putts. It posted a -6.5 PuttView Handicap on short putts and -10.4 on long putts. At $494.99, it isn’t cheap but the performance earned it the title and it’s the only mallet putter that could beat the zero-torque putter test average score.

Best blade putter 2026

The Mizuno M.Craft Osaka was our top-performing blade putter in 2026. It led the category on short putts, finished second from medium range and still ranked sixth on long putts. That strong performance from four to 12 feet was enough to separate it from the rest of the blade field and produce the best overall PuttView Handicap.

Skechers Blade Tour: If you prefer spiked golf shoes, the Skechers Blade Tour took home the gold this year, highlighted by exceptional comfort and a TPU outsole that increases stability during your swing. Alphard Cybercart: Testers appreciated a durable frame built to withstand the elements and outlast tough conditions. The price is a focal point with one tester noting: “It’s rare to find an electric golf push cart that performs this well that doesn’t break the bank.” At $1,379, you’re easily obtaining the most bang for your buck.

BagBoy Nitron Swivel: The Bag Boy Nitron Swivel is built to last with a solid frame, grippy handlebar and strong wheels. On top of that, the Nitron Swivel contains a water bottle-holder and plenty of storage to provide all one might need on the golf course.

Garmin Approach G82: The Garmin Approach G82 has a beautiful user interface that’s easy to use. The Approach G82 also functions as a launch monitor. At $599.99, you’re getting much more for less.

Best Golf Speaker

Mileseey GeneSonic Pro: The Mileseey GeneSonic Pro is the best golf speaker of 2026 and offered premium sound from every distance with the ability to hear your music clearly from nearly 50 yards away. If sound quality is your top priority, you can’t go wrong.

The detachable GPS is an underrated feature, too. You can connect your phone, start the GPS and walk around with the detachable handheld unit rather than having to carry the entire speaker everywhere you go.

Best Golf Rain Gear

KJUS PRO 3L 3.0: If you ski or snowboard, you should recognize the name KJUS. You wouldn’t be crazy to utilize the 3L 3.0 on the mountain. Testers noted the “rain gutter” technology as the best feature. The increased emphasis on repelling water was a key factor in the scoring of the KJUS 3L 3.0 Jacket.

Abacus Pitch 37.5 Waterproof Golf Jacket: One tester noted that the Pitch 37.5 is extremely light for a rain jacket that performs this well. Additionally, the Pitch 37.5 fits almost perfectly.
