Now that I’m seeing the commercials on TV, a new Callaway ball test is in order. Seems hard to believe they can right the ship that quickly.

Didn’t Titleist recently make claims about a Callaway ball (I think it was even printed inside the box)? Callaway would have ensured that their statements were deemed opinion or they’ve conducted a limited test with set conditions to back up their “data” if needed. It’s unlikely that the claims are actionable.

You might not like them saying it but if Titleist disagrees significantly and can prove outright otherwise, they’ll pursue them through the courts. That will be when Calloway have really screwed up. Until the it’s genius provocative marketing that will only have a positive impact on their sales.
