3 Days and Counting!
Just wanted to give you all a brief reminder that the RE/MAX Long Drive contest is only a few days away! We’ve been running a poll on the bottom of our website recently asking that if they ever did decide to have a PGA vs. RE/MAX Long Drive Contest like we wrote about a couple months ago, how many of you would tune in?
85% of you say you would absolutely tune in. DO you think it will ever happen? Probably not, but hey, the more we push, who knows.
TV Schedule
As mentioned, the countdown has officially begun. 3 Days, 9 hours and 58 minutes until the first ball is launched into the stratosphere. Now, a bit of bad news, as far as I can tell, according to LongDrivers.com we’re going to have to wait until Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to actually get the pleasure of watching these beasts hit the ball. A bit of a silver lining, however, is that we’ll get to see it in HD. Not bad.
TV Schedule: ESPN will air the 2008 RE/MAX WLDC finals – which take place in Mesquite, Nevada on October 20-25 – at 3pm ET on Christmas Eve; ESPN2 will follow suit at 2pm ET on Christmas Day.
Nevertheless, we still want you guys to chime in and sound off on if you’d be interested in seeing a first ever PGA vs. RE/MAX Long Drive Contest. All of us here would love to see it, and from the sound of it you would too.
