Gary Wiren, has invited me to special clinics in the past and has displayed his collection on the golf channel. He works for Mr. Trump now at Trump national. I’m wondering if the golf channel would have in it’s online archives the show he did comparing old clubs to new clubs. Try searching there.

Gary Wiren has a whole collection of golf clubs dating from a hundred years ago up to the present…all the stuff they are doing now has been done before..we just have better materials to work with now….it is amazing to see as he has presented it as you say “what is old is new again”.

Well I wouldn’t say a lot but he did have a speed slot on his a long time ago. Everything that is old is new again.

Maybe the 9032LS is just getting a name(fast 10) instead of a number.

I am a fan of adams golf. there new drivers all have great looks and solid feel and sound. i bought the a4 driver last summer after having the a3. both of those clubs are very solid. i also demoed the first speedline driver along with the R9. the speedline was a good 5-10 yards longer. i am exited to try the new adams line up. too many companies are sacrificing good looks for a few extra yards. Adams drivers deliver.

I got custom fit on a launch monitor(flight scope) on a real range and the machine follows the golf ball all the way out to the end of the range. The machine tells you your ideal launch angle and ideal angle of desent. It also tells you your ideal spin rate and what your average club head speed is..mine is 97.5 mph with my driver. It will show you a scatter plot of your old equipment(subject property so to speak) versus your new equipment being tested. My testing showed that Callaway X-22 irons delivered 10 more yards with tighter dispersion. This is data..not guessing. The flight scope is the caddy of monitors. I believe the one Trac Man they use on the golf tournaments for television is the Rolls Royce of launch monitors.

I like the Adams driver. I like the deep face drivers and I like the traditional shape.

I hit one of these at the World’s Long Driver Championships held at Mesquite NV OCt 25-30. The driver is a dawg. I will stick with my r9 TP driver and only bring in the bare minimum I have to order form Adams. I am actully thinking of dropping the whole Adams line. I am not impressed with their equipment. Adams is a very slow mover in our golf shop

garry, i heard the same thing from an LDA guy that works on our staff and whats even more ironic is the majority of our instructors use R9 TP’s. i personally feel Adams makes a great hybrid ,i just put the pro black in the bag, i just dont know if they’ve done enough here to get the consumer who dumped $300 into last years speedline to jump right back into this one.

Makes me wanna pull out a slide rule on the tee and after a few quick calculations I would bomb one past my buddies…..and silence their laughter!

      One word: STUNNING.

Finally, Adams begins to gets it with the visual aspect of their product… Such not a marketing machine just like Callaway, TM or Nike, but a really good step foward to gain some notoriety.

We all know Adams R&D is above average… Their only weaknesses we’re all about perception in the past few years. HUGE progress then !

I love the equations printed on the sole. A really a great design idea for a really good looking driver.

It looks fantastic Adams are creating an excellent buzz with all their clubs at the moment. Although I’m not sure I want to have a club that’s smarter than me. Golf can make you feel dumb at times your clubs don’t have to prove it!

I had a chance to hit it a week or so ago and it flat out rocks! Noticeably more forgiving than the original blue model and it has a better sound and feel. I hit it with the Wasabi and it was good but was told that it will be available with a lower launch Matrix. I’m going to be bagging one this spring I’m sure!
