MyGolfSpy – Exclusive Sneak-Peek At Bobby Grace’s New Putters & Website
One of the most famous putter designers in the United States is back! Bobby Grace will be re-launching his new website in just 2 days! And MyGolfSpy got the exclusive sneak-peak. The new website will launch on July 15th www.BobbyGracePutters.com and it will bring a little bit of a traditional look back to his line. The whole thing from the colors to the logo take you back to a time when putters we a piece of artwork.
Bobby Grace’s Career
Bobby Grace has been milling putters since way back in the mid 1990’s…his first line the Bobby Grace Golf Design Inc. Company was purchased by Cobra Golf back in 1997. He then began designing putters for MacGregor Golf from 2003 until just this year where he saw the writing on the wall and decided to leave MacGregor Golf before they sold out to GolfSmith. You might remember us covering the break-up between MacGregor and Grace back in June of ’08.
The worst part for Bobby during the split-up was a 1-year non-compete meaning he couldn’t make putters for a year and also the fact that MacGregor owned his name and everything about him…from his patents to all his tooling. But now Bobby has got his name back for an undisclosed amount (might be able to let you know the amount later).
So What Is Bobby Grace Doing Now?
Well since he got his name and precious materials back, Bobby and crew have been hard at work on www.BobbyGracePutters.com. They have been machining away to release their newest line-up which includes a top-secret face material they call HSM (Hole Seeking Material). The line-up will include 2 different series of putters at different price points and also some limited edition handmades as well which will debut in early 2010:
CLASSIC SERIES (PRICE $129)
- Megiddo Putter – (Small Heel Shafted Mallet)
- Jericho Putter – (Ping Zing Style Putter)
- Jordan Putter – (Small Center Shafted Mallet)
- Shiloh – (Ping Anser Style)
- TBD – (Larger Mallet)
AMG SERIES = All Milled Grace (Price $249)
- Kishon Putter – (updated version of the Amazing Grace rounded Mallet)
- The Triumph Putter – (Milled Mallet with stainless steel back ring weighted to maximize MOI)
Handmades & Tour Prototypes
- To debut in Q1 2010. As soon as we get more info on these we will get you a sneak-peek on those as well.

I’m saying my prayers that the “Shiloh” will be similar to the Macgregor M1.
